Isaac was lounging comfortably in one of the plush chairs in Levistis Manor, savoring his favorite grape juice, while Adrian and Luri chatted quietly beside him. It had been a peaceful afternoon, filled with light conversations about Aurelius and Seraphina. But all that changed the moment Isaac's phone rang.

He glanced at the screen, recognizing the number immediately. It was his adoptive father.

Without much thought, he answered, still sipping on his juice.

"Isaac," his adoptive father's gruff voice came through, sounding unusually serious. "I've got news for you. Cain Sebanil has agreed to the marriage proposal."

Isaac, caught completely off guard, inhaled sharply—and that was when disaster struck. The grape juice he had been sipping shot out of his mouth in a spray, directly hitting Luri, who had been sitting too close for comfort. Her dress, a light, elegant shade of cream, was now drenched in sticky purple liquid.
