Abbie and I finished our food, well I finished mine, her half eating fries were taken away by the waitress who sort of gave me and Abbie a dirty look. I continued my ranting to Abbie who looked like she had been studying for a physics paper for far too long and wasn't absorbing any more of what I was saying "You are the only mortal who knows about the Celestial beings as far as i know and I really need you to keep this a secret... for me." Abbie looked up from the table, taking her finger tips off her temples and said "I will, i promise, I'm just glad that you didn't try kiss me on the first date." I let out a sigh of relief and got up from the table grabbing her hand to guide her out of the restaurant, we went to an arcade. We played some games there for about 30 or so minutes, and we both sort of forgot about what we where talking about for once in my life, I didn't feel like a celestial anymore, felt like a normal teenager, being able to enjoy my teenage life with my crush, that lasted about 45 or so minutes, until we heard a giant crash, followed by 100 or so people screaming in the distance, i thought that it must just be a faulty machine, or an explosion from a poorly looked after vehicle. My assumptions would soon be proven wrong because about 500 or so "people" started walking into the mall, they weren't people however they where Life's living soldiers. Okay, don't know how I haven't mentioned it yet, but now is probably a good time, the celestials have their own "Army" that they can grow and summon whenever they want, the soldiers
in the army have life or death characteristics, however since I'm only a 19 year old celestial and have only awakened a year ago, I dont even know how to create or summon a single soldier. Which means i lose in a numbers and strength game against Life. Life soldiers where almost tree like, with vines and grass growing all over them with skin made of dark tree bark, and right now
there are about 500 of them coming after me and my date! I grabbed Abbie's hand and shouted "RUN!" we sprinted towards the arcades fire exit, however we where met face to face with a soldier of life who snarled as if it where a zombie, a instinctively summoned my celestial weapon which was a 2 meter tall scythe, with a bright white wooden handle and a pitch black blade darker than the night sky in the shape of a crescent moon. I slashed at the soldier, destroying it in a single swing, with that same swing I also managed to destroy about 10 arcade machines and make a hole in the wall big enough to fit about 3 people in it... whoops.
