The dream from last night was still fresh in my mind, I kept trying to decipher what the figure had said, regardless we're on the road now, probably for about an hour or two.
Abbie kept glancing at me to make sure I was okay, "You okay rattie? You've been acting weirder than usual today, was that dream that bothersome for you?".
I shrugged and replied "Not really, just really weird isn't it, almost like a warning, I mean the night before we leave the house I get that dream? Isn't that weird to you?".
Abbie thought to herself for a couple seconds before saying "Nah not really, I mean we are celestials aren't we? Dreams like that should be sorta normal at this point, we go through strange things everyday, a dream is pretty normal for us even the weirder ones."
"You're right, I guess I'll just-" Abbie interrupted and shouted "Look a gas station!.... Wow never in my life did I think I'd be excited about a gas station...".
We went inside to grab a few snacks, luckily Abbie remembered to grab some cash before we left so we where set on money, we grabbed a few snacks and drinks. Once we went to go pay I heard a slight whisper in my ear, "Hello darling...", I jumped. Abbie looked over at me and asked "What?! What is it!?", "Did you not just hear that?" Abbie looked at me funny and said "Are you getting sick or something? First the dream now you are hearing voices... Maybe we should turn back.".
"No, no I'm fine!" I insisted, but I feel like I could feel something watching us from afar, it was piercing my skin, I have no idea how Abbie hadn't noticed it too.
We left the gas station with snacks and drinks in hand, we decided to take the path into the woods "Well, if we are looking for a celestial of despair, the woods are the best place to look right!?"... it was Abbie's suggestion to take the path, she doesn't like the woods or anywhere besides the beach, I learnt that when we where chatting at school.
"So what was that back there? You said you heard something?" Abbie asked me concerned "No it must have just been someone whispering nearby, it's probably nothing." Abbie was always worried about me but I don't need her to have that extra stress while we are searching for someone potentially universe ending if we don't get them on our side.
We came across train tracks when all of a sudden I heard a branch break. "What was that...?".
