Celestial Elves' Survival Game

Celestial Elves, a race of Celestial beings, bargained with the world leaders of Earth to not destroy the planet if they could offer them an appreciable number of prisoners as compensation for not destroying their world. The leaders gathered around and agreed to their terms. After all, what could be better than such a deal. These were just a bunch of cutthroat criminals and misfits. A thorn to the society at large. The world leaders would be glad to let these bands of miscreants leave their homeland as soon as possible. And so a deal was struck with the Celestial beings, with the inhabitants of the world at large oblivious to this knowledge except for the world leaders of course. A total of 80,000 criminals charged with a death sentence would be enough to placate the Celestials urge for destruction. And here’s where our protagonist comes into play. Ace Tempest, an eighteen year old undergraduate, was incarcerated for the murder of his father who in turn was at fault for the domestic violence he implements while at home.  Thrown into a prison facility just like the rest of the criminals, Ace had no choice but to take part in this survival game where players who suffered in-game deaths would surely follow a similar fate in real life. But that wasn't all, since the players were in another world, the inhabitants of Earth had already forgotten the players even existed. Now what will he do since both his mother and sister had forgotten all about him? Will he strive to win the 1,000,000,000 dollar reward or will something totally unexpected occur to him in the game. If you don't wanna miss it then come and join the fun. Thanks. [[ Warning!! Contains Mature Content and Gore.]] Please, all events that occurred in this novel is completely fictional. 25. First Meal Together.

"Ugh!!" I groaned out loud due to the massive headache I felt.

"Where am I?"

I wondered as I found myself sleeping on the wooden floor of what looked like the interior part of a cabin.

"How did I get here?"

There wasn't anything special about the interior of the building in the sense that, there wasn't any furniture or stuff like that in the room.

It was just me in the alcove of a medium size room and a fireplace made with rough gray stones.

The high vaulted ceilings made the house feel expansive and roomy.

"Ouch! TCH! TCH!" My body ached a lot as I tried to take a seat.

I noticed my left arm was bandaged neatly and kept in a sling wrapped around my neck.

"Who did this?"

Though I was confused, still I tried to recall what might have happened to me leading up to this very moment.

"Jasmine?"

Then I recalled Jasmine aiding me to kill the Minotaur before everything else turned blank.

"It seems I became unconscious after losing so much blood during the aftermath of my battle with the Minotaur,"

"Huh? The Minotaur?" I summoned my system panel to check my inventory.

"Wow!! It is here," I was surprised to see the item dropped by the Minotaur to be stored in my inventory.

"I can't believe I killed a Minotaur,"

It feels so surreal as I recalled the whole experience of how I brazenly stood against a Minotaur.

"Huh?" But then, I noticed a huge wolf pelt was used as a bedsheet to cover me.

But that was the least of my worries.

Underneath the makeshift blanket was me, almost buck n.a.k.e.d with only bandages wrapped around my lower region in what looked like an adult diaper.

Right beside me were my briefs, a white sleeveless shirt, and black trouser folded on top of one another.

I hurriedly grabbed all the clothes to put them on.

____

Right after I managed to wear the folded clothing, I decided to step out of the house.

There, I noticed Jasmine sitting on a log of wood while facing toward what she was cooking.

The pleasant aroma of whatever she was cooking permeated the air and wafted into my nostrils.

I had barely seen or tasted the meal, but I could tell that it would be a luscious and mouthwatering meal if I were to grab a bite of it.

*Growl!* My stomach made the loudest growl it had ever heard in my life.

This was a first for me.

Almost as though she heard my growling stomach, Jasmine jerked up in surprise to see me stepping out of the cabin.

"Oh! You're awake," She said, without an ounce of worry.

She talked to me as though we were friends who had known each other for a long time and shouldn't be wary of each other.

'Is she trying to make me feel relaxed, or does she see me as someone insignificant to be wary of?

"Well, don't just stand there. You must be hungry, right?" She asked, then beckoned him to come over.

I stood my ground and was completely aghast by how carefree she was to me.

After all the things that's happened before now, why wouldn't I be?

She is a bit too relaxed and this only made me feel uncomfortable.

Moreover, we barely even knew each other.

"Did you….?" I asked, but then bashfully thought against saying anything else.

'As I thought, it feels weird to ask a girl if she was the one who stripped me n.a.k.e

d and cleaned my clothes.'

While thinking how ridiculous it would be to ask Jasmine what I had in mind, I unwittingly stared at my black trousers.

Jasmine stared in the same direction as I did, and then a faint rosy color appeared on her cheeks.

"Mm, mm," she replied with a nod and then accompanied it with a wary smile.

I was left speechless. It felt as though the world was spinning around me.

Never had I been so humiliated as this.

And it doesn't look like she has anyone else living with her, so, there was no doubt she was the one who changed my clothes.

If I could shrink away from existence, I probably would, but the feeling of hunger rose once again.

My stomach growled, reminding me not to forget how peckish I was.

Jasmine tittered at the sound of my stomach, she turned to grab a couple of wooden bowls and spoons while patting a spot right next to her on the log.

'She wants me to sit right next to her?'

'Although I might not look much, I'm still a male. You're a woman, and a stunning one at that. Anything can happen. I might pounce on you and inject a certain member into your body you know.'

'Well, I highly doubt that. I'm not a coital craving teenager, eager to have my first taste of a woman.'

'Thinking back, I might be, but it won't be at the level of being called a pervert,'

'I've got too much going on my mind to welcome any perverted thought to reside in it,'

"There's enough for both of us. You need to eat. Today is the fifth day since we started this game, and you'll need to regain your strength," Jasmine's words drifted me off my stupor.

"What? Today is day five?"

Jasmine nodded to my inquiry.

Day five? So, I've been asleep for the past two days? It feels hard to believe I've been asleep for such a long period.

I looked at the expression Jasmine made and noticed how serious she was.

'She doesn't seem to be lying to me,'

"You've been asleep since day Two, right after you fought against the Minotaur. Two more days had passed since then."

"I see,"

Hearing this, I looked at my arm, which seemed like it hadn't properly healed.

My mind wandered off to how I would survive with just an arm.

Instantly, I felt discombobulated and worried about how difficult it would take for me to live long with just an arm.

"Now eat, you must be hungry,"

Jasmine patted the spot next to her again.

I took a deep breath and decided to relax by taking a seat.

I sat right next to her, though a bit away from her, after all, if Jasmine wanted to harm me, it would have been done before now but that doesn't mean I should let my guard down.
