THIRTY FOUR

Twenty-three minutes later Avery arrived at Lean's office in chaos. What a mess because she had to go up to Lean's room using the stairs. She should be able to arrive in exactly twenty minutes as she promised the man. But because the elevator was too full, and she was in a hurry, she was forced to do the foolish thing by walking up seven floors using stairs. As a result, Avery now looks sweaty, exhausted, and very bad. Her appearance now cannot be said to be the appearance of a top model who often appears on great roadside billboards.

"Have you arrived?"

Avery glanced at the man a little annoyed. When she entered the room, the man was busy calling and only glanced at her. Her presence this afternoon was not appreciated at all. Even though earlier she only got dressed and took a shower within seven minutes. The rest she does everything in the car. Including eating a sandwich that Magda prepared haphazardly.
