"Umm, thanks for the flowers?" I said, and it came out as a question.
Lysander's light green eyes were on me, searching my face before subtly glancing down at my neck and chest then back to my face.
When their eyes met again, his light green eyes had darkened into smouldering embers.
He grinned mischievously, showing an array of perfect white teeth.
I couldn't take any more attention from this handsome boy, so I stared at the ground while I hide the basket of flowers behind my back.
My body fidgeted under his gaze, and I could only turn from side to side in a slow rhythm.
Lysander had made me extremely uncomfortable, and I don't know what to do.
"Do you want to bring the flowers with me or are you going to leave that inside the house?" Lysander brought my chin up with a finger to bring my gaze back to his eyes, but that only made me step backwards out of his reach.
"Ah—I should go home."
