[You shouldn't have played that game, Master] "Just shut up, Crucifix!" Elena Hartley, an AI Engineer, played a suspicious game until she breathed her last breath in her bathroom. Waking up in the body of Meliora, a character she hated in the game, she knew she was done for. Meliora, an abandoned princess, finally gets the opportunity to see the outside world but is sent to the enemy kingdom to participate in the king's concubine selection. Elena, now Meliora, with her AI robot by her side, must do everything she can to survive until she finds a way back to her world. After meeting the king, who disguised himself as the king's personal knight to help her, will she accept her fate and embrace a love she has never experienced before, or will she find a way to return to her world?
"Are you stalking me now?" Meliora snarled, jabbing a finger into his chest, not noticing the shock written on the seamstress's face.
She parted her lips to say something, but Kaid flashed a glare that told her not to try it—or else. Of course, Meliora didn't see his cold glare, too focused on scolding, while Kaid simply flashed her a warm smile.
"Why are you smiling?" Meliora narrowed her eyes in anger, and Kaid chuckled.
"Didn't you miss me while I was gone?" he asked, tucking a strand of hair behind Meliora's ear. When he went to pat her head, she slapped his hand away.
She pressed her lips into a thin line and glared at him, arms crossed. She didn't know why this handsome goody two-shoes was following her around. If he wanted to kill her, he would have done it by now, so why was he sticking around, saying such things?
[Master, sometimes I just ask myself, why are you so dense?] Crucifix whispered.
