Waking up in the body of Meliora, a character she hated in the game, she knew she was done for. Meliora, an abandoned princess, finally gets the opportunity to see the outside world but is sent to the enemy kingdom to participate in the king's concubine selection. Elena, now Meliora, with her AI robot by her side, must do everything she can to survive until she finds a way back to her world. "Why exactly did you bring me here?" Meliora asked, darting her eyes between the water fountain and Kaid, who stood beside her.
His gaze remained fixed on the water fountain, ignoring Meliora, a distant look in his eyes as if there was something in particular he was staring at but there was nothing.
"Make a wish," he suddenly ordered. Meliora raised her brows in confusion. She knew what to do with a water fountain, but she still didn't understand why he brought her here.
Meliora took a deep breath and sighed heavily, extending her hand for a coin. Kaid glanced at her hand for a second before placing a coin in her palm.
She clasped her hands together, closed her eyes, and after a moment, opened them and tossed the coin into the water.
"What did you wish for?" Kaid asked curiously. Meliora pressed her lips into a thin line.
