Meliora was stuck in a loop of darkness, her face pale and filled with horror. Every path she turned revealed painful memories from both her past life and the life of Meliora.
It haunted her, no matter how much she ran. The memories constantly reminded her that she was never needed, that she should have just disappeared before she even opened her eyes.
But then, all of a sudden, a blinding light shone through the darkness, chasing away all her dark memories! Squinting her eyes to see what lay beyond the light, she found Kaid standing there, extending a hand to her.
Meliora beamed, reaching out to take his hand. But just as she was about to, a voice echoed, "Your Majesty!" Kaid turned toward the source of the voice, and that's when everything changed.
