"Where is she?" he asked as he shoved the door wider when a woman opened the door for him. He assumed she was the one who answered his call.
"She was still unresponsive," she replied in a hushed tone.
He pinched the bridge of his tall nose in agitation while pacing the room. "Their family doctor will be here anytime, right?" he asked but didn't wait for her to answer. He picked up a lethargic Li Na from the sofa. He gritted his teeth when he saw the gauze pad carelessly taped on her shoulder.
"Hand me her bag and her shoes," he ordered, carrying Li Na in his arms.
"I can carry them and follow you," she told him, holding Li Na's personal stuff in her hands.
"You wait here for the doctor, and tell him Li Na left the room by her own accord," he said in a cold tone, leaving no room for discussion. "Once the doctor leaves, you come next door. I want the whole story."
