Percy Stanton stood still, furrowing his brow and said nothing.
Raymond Thompson rolled his eyes and continued to plead cutely: "Father, can you help me out?"
Percy glanced at the fireworks Raymond was holding and answered without hesitation: "No."
Raymond's face fell immediately, he looked at Percy with a bit of frustration, opened his mouth, and stubbornly said, "But I really can't carry it anymore. Besides, shouldn't a father help his son?"
"There's also a saying, do your own thing!"
Raymond was suddenly speechless, his face turned a little red, staring at Percy's nonchalant expression, and all of a sudden, from who knows where, he gathered the courage to protest to Percy.
Raymond threw the fireworks onto the ground with a bang, pouted, and looked at Percy with a self-perceived threatening tone, saying, "Father, I'm a child, and you're abusing me by doing this. Child abuse is illegal, and you can't disrespect my human rights!"
