Challenge Accepted

Soon, they arrived home...

For KM was just so silent riding in Rain's car, while into a deep daze thinking about Michael.

"How would Michael feel that Rain had beat him in showing her his own invention? What would I do then? Will he be hurt? I'm sure I'm the woman that he intended to show it to 'coz he expressed to me last week that he have loved me all throughout these years. And that he is willing to take the challenge of wooing me amidst all my suitors. Hmmm..." KM released a sigh while being bombarded many questions by her thoughts.

And Rain indeed have noticed her silent facial expressions while in a daze, so he let her be, while he focused on his driving till they arrived now.

"We're here." Rain slowly unstrapped her seatbelt for her. He intend to do that so she could snapped out from his daze, of which she did.

"Huh! T-thanks for the date, I enjoyed it so much with you, Rain," slowly spoke KM.

"Did you really enjoyed our date? You were on your deep thoughts on our way home. Is there something bothering you?" checked Rain.

"Nothing serious, I just got a little headache. I'll rest and it will be gone." lazily replied KM. For she don't want to reveal to Rain that she's thinking about another man.

"Oh, okay. Can we have another date after this?" Rain queried.

"You want us to date some more? For what reason?"

"Yes, of course. We've kissed, didn't we? I want us to go further more with our relationship."

"Relationship? Do we have a relationship already? If you considered our kiss as a start of our so-called 'relationship', then you must be wrong!" KM reacted.

"Wrong? You have reciprocated my kiss, didn't you like it?"

"Yeah, I did reciprocated your kiss after my many failed attempts of resisting it. Besides, I didn't want us to create troubles at the bowling center since my bodyguards were alarmed, so I decided to gave in and reciprocated your kiss. You're a good kisser and indeed I like it. But that doesn't mean we are starting a relationship. Instead, I'm giving you a challenge now, since I have other men who are wooing me, if you're up to it, whoever man that would be able to capture my heart and make me head over heels with, then, I will commit my relationship with him. May the best man wins my heart then."

"What? I can't believe it!" Rain exclaimed in astonishment.

"You can't believe it? Well as a matter of fact, I have a scheduled date tomorrow and and next week as well. Two different men in two different scheduled dates with me," confirmed KM.

"Oh I see. So that gives me no choice but to accept the challenge then."

"I'm not forcing you. It's up to you if you wanna pursue me or not."

"Ok, Miss KM, I accept the challenge, I wanna pursue you. Please schedule me to have another date with you then." Rain brought her right hand to his lips and kissed it.

"Okay, ask me after 3 days from now to schedule our next date then. For now, I'm really having a headache and needed to rest."

"Okay, I won't hold you long. Goodnight and rest well," Rain was about to give her a kiss on her lips but KM put her palm in between and slighly pushed his face away from her.

"Goodnight, And thanks." KM didn't wait for Rain's response, she then opened the car door and went out quickly without looking back to Rain. The door in her house then, opened for her and closed quickly after she got in.

Rain, after seeing the door closed after her, he drove his car away and went to the hotel he was checked in. He quickly went to shower and went to bed after.

While KM, eventhough she really had a headache, she wnet to bed directly in the hopes that she could sleep right away, but to no avail. She couldn't help but keep thinking about Michael and his invented telescope.

"Why am I so much concern of what will he gonna feel about it then? Does this mean that I have actually fallen for him already, that I just didn't realize it sooner? How would I react then, if he really felt hurt? And what would I do? Oh, I don't know. hmmm. Sleep, sleep, come to me quickly so I can rest. Why am I bombarded with all these questions and thoughts? Now I could not really sleep because of it all. Huh! I am having a big headache now. Argh... Michael, make me sleep okay? We will gonna have our date tomorrow anyway. So we shall see what's gonna happen then. huh!" KM kept talking to herself until she finally had been too tired and went to sleep...
