Serena's POV

"Serena, Serena!...SERENA!"

Woah! My eyes shot open and I jumped as the sound of yelling my Mom made its way through my ears.

"SERENA GET UP! You are going to be late for school." She yelled again. It took me a second to register then my eyes widened.

"Today, the school is reopening after vacations!" She yelled again and this time I didn't take a second to reply though, "Yeah, I'm up Mom, I'm getting ready!!" I said as I glanced at the clock and gasped, it's 7:30 already?! The bus time is 8:00 am!.

I didn't waste another second to get up and take a bath, brushed my teeth, and set my hair then went downstairs.

Oh! By the way, I forgot to tell you, I'm Serena Yvonne, and I live in Vaniville Town in the Kalos region. My Mom's name is Grace. I'm 18 years old.

I attend Kalos Institution of Technology (KIT) in short. Today the school is reopening after the vacations.

I have a huge group of friends that includes Me, Misty, May, Aria, Korrina, and Dawn. Dawn is my best friend, I mean we all are good friends, but she is kinda the closest.

I went to the kitchen and greeted my Mom, "Morning mom!" I said happily. "Morning Serena! Now, grab your breakfast and leave for the bus. You have only 15 mins!"

I nodded and quickly finished my breakfast, grabbed my backpack, and said goodbye to Mom. I shut the door behind me and ran towards the bus stop.

Once I reached there I saw my 2 friends, who also live in Vaniville Town. They were already there, sitting on a bench near the bus stop.

I greeted them with a huge grin on my face, "Hey Dawn and May! How have you been?!" I said. "Serena! It's been a while, hasn't it? I missed you so much!" Dawn said and we all shared a quick hug.

Dawn is a very enthusiastic girl. The only problem with her is that she always tries to ship me with some boy. I stay very careful around her bcz I'm not that interested in boys or am I? But this behavior makes her my bestie anyway.

I sighed at her, "Dawn, we were talking on the phone last night if you remember." I said.

"Oh come, Serena, leave it! Tell me how you've been?" May asked from the side.

"I've been great May!" I replied with a grin. "What about you? How was your vacation?" I asked while looking around the road for any signs of the bus, and I spotted it, far away from us.

"I spent most of my vacation shopping and just hanging around with my Mom" May bite her tongue playfully. "Hey! And btw, did you guys hear that some new students are attending the school from today?"

Well, I didn't know about that, and this 'some' kinda got my attention. How many are they anyway? That was unusual.

"I don't know-" I was cut off by the bus approaching us and stopped right in front of us. We got on the bus and took the seats.

We started talking about kinds of stuff, like the type of clothes we have bought, and about fashion and whatever.

The bus was about to reach the school and then suddenly Dawn asked something, "So, Serena! You think that you will find some attractive boys in these new students?" She asked with a smirk.

I became a bit nervous as she said that. She knows that I'm not into boys. I mean, I don't hate them or else boys are good! But she always tries to ship me with someone.

"N-no I don't think s-" I was cut off by the sudden voice of vehicles which kinda sounded like 'sports bikes'. The sound gets higher and higher within seconds, all the students on our bus started looking here and there outside the window for any signs of what was going on, including us.

What surprised us next is, with a split second some bikes passed next to both sides of our bus. It was like the speed of a bullet. It seemed like just air crashed beside our bus, all of us looked forward only to find out that they turned towards the building of our school.

All the students on the bus remained shocked including us and then started whispering about what happened.

Dawn looked at me, "Who were they?" She asked.

I don't have a clue either so I just shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know either"

We arrived at the school and left the bus. As we looked around, we saw those bikes parked near the bus parking spot. We shared a look with each other and just shrugged our shoulders.

Eventually, we arrived at the schoolyard which is our daily meeting spot before the schools start and we spotted our rest of the group there as well.

We quickly ran towards them and then greeted, "Hey guys!" I said with a grin plastered on my face. Dawn and May were catching behind.

"Hey, Serena! May and Dawn!" Misty greeted us while gesturing to the bench for us to sit. We sat there Me, Misty, Dawn, May, Korrina, and Aria. And then Misty continued, "So, how ya' guys have been?"

"Great! What about you?" Dawn said from next to me while May started to talk with Korrina and Aria.

"I have been great too!" Misty replied with a grin. "Hey, you guys know something about the new students?" Dawn asked with a sense of enthusiasm in her voice. I sighed that I know that she is always interested in these types of things.

Misty seemed to think for a moment and then replied, "Yeah, I think all of them are boys right?"

"Really?! Then I think they're going to be... HOT!!" Dawn said while clapping her hands together.

Misty and I looked at each other then giggled at the same time.

We chatted for a while before the bell rang, we all got up and headed towards our classes. We walked for a while talking about kinds of stuff and after a couple of minutes, we reached our class.

All students were taking their seats. We all sat together with Dawn next to me, May with Korrina, and Aria with Misty.

I spotted six extra empty seats and guessed that they were for those new students, they should be arranged, because our class was already full.

Dawn tapped on my shoulder causing me to look at her, "They seem like a group already, I mean, like they all joined together at the same time right?" She said while pointing her chin towards the empty seats. I looked towards the seats, "Yeah I think so,"

The door opened revealing our teacher, Prof. Henry. He is our Bio teacher. He's good, in my opinion, a little bit strict but nice with nice students.

Since I don't cause trouble or do my homework on time, the relationship between us is pretty good. Last week he gave me a bio project to complete for him. I wasn't happy with that but I wasn't disappointed either bcoz it will increase his good behavior towards me so I accepted it.

I have completed it though, but the registration is tomorrow.

All the students rushed towards their seats and sat down as Mr. Henry made his way towards the front. "Good morning class! I hope you all enjoyed your vacation." Prof. Henry's voice boomed throughout the class and we all greeted him back.

"So today we will be starting our class but first I want to introduce some new students here, but ah....they are kinda late I guess." He scratched his back in confusion, how can someone that irresponsible to be late on their first day?

"Anyways let us continue the class. Open your books!" And he picked up his book to explain. The class was going pretty well, it's been like 10 mins but then, the door slammed open revealing a boy. The sound was a bit louder than usual, and we all looked at the boy.

He stepped in. He has raven-haired scattering all over but the major part of his head was covered with a red cap. He has a little tightened skin and z typed marks on his cheeks.

He wore a half-sleeves blue shirt and grey pants with red shoes. I couldn't stop staring at him and I don't know why but I felt my cheeks warmed up. I quickly shook my head and did my pathetic attempt to not look at him.

He walked in with five other boys behind him. Man! They were... tall! We were just looking at them and they were standing emotionless. I swore they stole the heart of girls as I could clearly hear them squealing with delight.

Mr. Henry was confused as first tho, "Oh, you guys must be the new students that are attending from today right? The Principal told me about that." He said.

The boys simply nodded and he continued, "I told the class earlier, some new students will be attending the school from now on but you guys are a little late so I wasn't able to tell anything, anyways please introduce yourself."

The boy kept quiet for a second, looking around and observing the class. We're waiting for him to say his name patiently. Including me, surprisingly. Finally! He opened his mouth,

"I'm Ash"

After that, I swore I heard girls silently,

'KYAAA~ He is so HANDSOME!'
