Push in the right direction
Madison POV
She hadn't seemed herself for a quite a while, ever since that morning that Lord Valentine had sent us the remaining payment. After she had disappeared like she did, wondering where she had went. I tried to be her grounding, but now I felt like I was anchoring her to reality more than ever. She would sometimes just stare straight ahead, like she wasn't really there are all. I knew if she had been in her right mind, she would want me to push forward. Getting away from this place would be a step to rid her of whatever ghosts weighed her down.
Whether that was Drew, or the lord, they kept her buried in her own sadness.
I wouldn't stand for it, not anymore.
