I CALL IT...THE 'SHOT-VOLLEY'

Then he acted before me, he started to aim the tennis at my body making it hard for me to hit it back while he was also steadily increasing the force he applied to the ball, him aiming it at my body made me to be moving back wards while confused at the sudden change in the flow of things.

I got real close to the line and noticed that if it continues like this, it's gonna be real hard to hit it back to his own court, but then I hit it and it landed right on the net and it bounced back to my part of the court.

"Well I guess lady luck is smiling at me, today" (KAKERU)

"Yeah...it seems so, but if so you didn't have to cheat to make that luck shine, since luck are supposed to be unexpected things" (AKASUKI)

"Look Akasuki my dude, I'm sorry you had to face me, and you are quite good even better than I thought but my motto is i've gotta do whatever it is to get victory"

"Yeah...I guess I can sorta relate with that"

I said as I bounced the ball a few times on the court then smiled a little, I was holding back my strength a little to make him think he has a way to win against me, thinking about how prideful he must feel made my lip raised a little. He looked at me confused why I'm smiling, the first step was to distract his mind from the flow of the game that's been going on for some time now and the next is my speed and strength, coming as a surprise.

I was outside the line and about to serve when something came into my mind I don't know if it will work and I don't care cause I'm in the lead and if this is all this guy can do then it's obviously my win. I raised the ball up into the air and jumped up slightly falling back as I hit it straight into the sky with my racket, it went up really high for sometime and began to fall down, but what should I call it 'Shot-Volley'. From the looks of the way it's falling it's obviously gonna fall into my side.

*PAM*

The noise a-sounds as the tennis ball lands right on top the net, and it's direction shifted as it was about to fall into Kakeru's side of the court, I obviously didn't move and everybody had already given up hope as everyone just took it as my win, but only one reacted and moved, it was Kakeru as he moved really close to the ball, I was awed at the moment cause I thought I knew the level of his speed but I guess I was wrong, that was his true speed level. He moved or should I say jumped towards the ball like he was gonna catch an egg that rolled off the table and he used a Drop Volley to move it back into my part of the court, I moved...but I couldn't reach it as only the tip of the racket hit it and it just landed on the court.

"30–30"

"Oh, you're faster than I thought using a drop volley against my shot volley, you're pretty good"

"My motto Is to never lose hope even in unfavorable moments"

"Okay, just how many motto's do you have?, well doesn't matter now so how about we shift things up a notch hmm, so we can know who's obviously better and meant to become a regular"

"Ok I accept, but you should back out while you still can, I've been playing since primary school"

I threw the ball over to him and he used a different service this time. He want back to the right hand side of his court and served from there but my instincts told me it wasn't going to be a straight ball, and what do you know it actually wasn't, It moved like a dragon fly coming at me like it had a homing beacon, but I just finished preparing a counter for it as I just hit straight back at him going the way it came but with an increased force.

"That guy...he's starting to receive Kakeru's full power serve like it's something he does on a regular basis"

"No duh, if it was the serve that Kakeru used last I would have agreed with you but this was one of his best, but the guy caught it and he also didn't move to where kakeru served from"

He catches it with a close call and reduced the force a-little bit and returns it back to me.

"Hey...Higata right?"

Kakeru asked while still tossing the tennis over to me, I don't know if he's trying to distract me but I think I'm capable at 'Multi-Tasking', cause it is possible to walk and breath at the same time while still thinking or walking and breathing subconsciously while lost in thought, so it shouldn't be that hard but I should keep it as breif as I can, since I haven't done it before.

"Just call me Akasuki"

"Ok, Akasuki...how did you know I would aim for you instead of going straight"

"it is weird but It is still very possible"

We talked as we continued trading balls, were on draw now and the person who wins now gets closer to becoming a regular. So I decided to change the flaw, The ball came and instead of hitting back I just let it near my racket and take the racket down like I was cutting something, which enabled the ball to spin intensely, but this still wasn't enough, then he brought his own, he hits the ball to the left hand side I moved there to hit it then he hits it to the right hand side while he was still remaining where he was, I moved there and hit it back to him as he hits it to the left then the right then the left again, this went on for a while and it began to make me stressed and I realized he was just tiring me out on purpose by burning my energy up so instead of hitting it back at him at the center I just hit it straight, but it seems he expected I will do it as he was smiling like he was having fun and hits it back to me.

Now all that's is a challenge on who will be the first to drop or miss the ball or slack off or get tired first but who will it be?, I'm already getting bored so let's increase the force to full power.

The ball was coming at me as I quickly got to where the ball was headed. I tightened my grip on my racket holding it with both hands and swung the ball upward into the sky at full force, we all looked up as the ball went up but it was too far to the sky they couldn't see it.

"That's my new move, I call it the 'Shot-Volley'"

I said as I pointed the racket at Kakeru who was looking at me as the rest did, not believe and angry.

"Game set!"

He walked closer to the net and stretched out his right arm to me, I noticed what he was trying to do and also came closer as I looked at him holding a forced smile cause It was obvious he couldn't hide his emotions.

"it was a Great match, let's play again it was fun" (KAKERU)

"Yeah likewise"

I replied shocked at his actions, it was really fun playing with him he's different from others, they mostly hold a grudge against you from something like this. After exchanging a hand shake he walked away, and I also left the court and went to Hayami.

"So Who Is the guy I'm gonna go up against next?"

"Just go sit for now, he's mostly slacking off on purpose but I'm sure he will be here"

"Alright then...any way Senpai, I haven't played against you have I?"

"No, are you challenging me?"

She said while looking at me while standing, She definitely knows what I meant but I don't know if I can win against her, wait should I even be thinking about it, Ugh I must be getting cocky cause of my wins to ask such a thing.

"Hey Senpai is there anyone who can go up against you and you will still have a hard time"

"Hmm...Well there are only a handful of them, like Joe who they call beast, or futures ball and more"

"Is that guy you want me to win against called Futures Ball?".

"No, but Futures Ball is one of them you will have to win against it's almost like he can predict where the ball will go to or something like that"

Predict... Ugh why did I have to remember her, but they do sound similar may be She's Futures Ball, no Hayami called Futures Ball a 'he' maybe Its a male, but just to confirm.

A voice distracted me as I turned to look at who it came from. It was a guy looking like someone who doesn't have a drive to do something but is only forced to.
