"W-ha… But didn't you just say, " "I know, I know, but like... They aren't home; they went on a last-minute business trip." "So, I can't meet your parents then." Haruki glanced at her and said, "Yeah, u-uhm, you can't." Vanessa looked at Haruki with an unimpressed expression. "Oh. Ok.." Haruki noticed how she dimmed down all of a sudden, so he couldn't help but apologise. "Uh, I'm so sorry, really." "Oh, don't worry—there's no need to apologise. I just thought of seeing them because it's been so long... But it turns out they're probably busy." "Yeah, they are..." . After a long moment of silence, an idea quickly popped into Haruki's brain. "Wait," he pondered as he slowly widened his eyes in realisation. "If I play my cards right, I can perhaps utilise her..." He thought "Now that I think about it, she was quite popular back at school and somewhat knew of Nazuke." He continued, "If I play my cards right, I can finally find him!" Uhm, V-vanessa..?" he began, for once gazing directly at her, determined to get an appropriate answer from her. Vanessa immediately turned her head towards him, amazed at how Haruki finally initiated the conversation. "Y-yeah, what's up?" She unconsciously stuttered, "So, uh, you do remember Nazuke, right?" He responded, "Nazuke?" She questioned, slightly tilting her head in response.

Haruke gawked at her in absolute shock, then he said, "You don't remember him?" He questioned, "Yknow Nazuke, the one who was like always in the same class as us?!" "C'mon think!" He hurriedly insisted Vanessa thought for a moment before she spoke again, "N-Nazuke... Uh, uhm.." Haruki was just staring at her in awe. He thought to himself, "I never knew her f***ing memory was that bad. Good lord…" Without warning, Vanessa belted, "OHH, NAZUKE!" "NAZUKE, YES, Nazuke! I remember him now! Wow, I actually can't believe I forgot about him already, plus, I remember speaking to him on the phone last Thursday!" Haruki got intrusive. "On the phone!?" Vanessa looked at him, confused. She said, "Well, yes, on the phone..." "Oh, my bad, uhm." "What's up?" "No, n-nothing.." Vanessa was perplexed by Haruki's sudden reaction. "How do you care about him so much?" she muttered under her breath. "What's that?" Haruki's inquired, not exactly catching what Vanessa just phrased, "O-oh, just me mumbling, don't mind it," as she quickly shrugged off the topic. "Anyways." She started, I can tell you what he said if you want."

"Nazuke called me to tell me that he'd moved out of his old house." "He moved out!?" Haruki yelled "Yeah." Vanessa spoke, disturbed by Haruki's demeanour. "And he didn't tell me?" Haruki exclaimed as a stir of emotions combusted in him, attempting to reject the truth that his Nazuke kept him out of the blue of his time. "I thought he told everyone, though, including you." "NO, HE DIDN'T." "O-oh... Well, anyway, he lives in... Rolsbrooke Close now."

"Rolsbrooke Close? I haven't heard of that place ever." Haruki stated this as he steadily calmed down from his fit. "Well, I haven't either, to be honest; I've never even gone anywhere near there. I think." "Okay, but, Vanessa, do you know where his old house is at least?" "His old house? Well, I do…" "Uhm, if you don't mind me asking, can we... visit his old house together?" Vanessa beamed at him, "Oh. Uh, sure!" "Thanks.."
