I have the tech book, now what

'Let alone having fun, the previous Virtya Markov has left behind a huge mess. I will have to start from scratch to fix everything here, this kingdom was almost falling, most of the nobles have already taken away their wealth and escaped to other peaceful and stable kingdoms, there is no money, there are no resources, no food to feed the people, the knights that work for me and the people are worry about the leadership of this kingdom... The heck! I was not left with anything good, what can I do?' Virtya was frustrated. He had already accepted the fact that this would be his world, thus, he had to make it a better place for his survival and because he was also the king of this kingdom, he couldn't just allow the people to starve, right? He had to do something!

Virtya had lived a life of poverty in his previous life and he knew the miseries that the poor go  through, thus, he couldn't just overlook everything because he was now a royalty, right?

'I have to find something that I can do or use so that I can transform this kingdom and the lives of its denizens.' Virtya declared in his heart.

He reclined comfortably on his seat and  closed his eyes as he didn't want to be distracted. He wanted to look at the memories that the previous Virtya left him so that he could see if there was a way that he could use to alleviate the inevitable fall of his kingdom.

However, the moment that Virtya closed his eyes, his view changed, he was now not seeing darkness as anticipated but what he was looking at right now was a book.

'What is this?' Virtya asked himself. He didn't panic because he was a person who liked to meditate. And in most of his meditative state, he had seen many things that were out of this world that were only fantasies thus, to Virtya, this was simply the same thing.

One should know that deep emotions could also make one to start seeing things that were not there, it was not just mediation alone that could bring about seeing unusual stuffs and that was what made Virtya to unlock something within him. His deep emotions of frustration, panic and fear made him to unlock something that was hidden deep inside him.

TECHNOLOGY!

That was the title of the book that Virtya's eyes were glued upon. It had a brown cover and it seemed ancient and futuristic at the same time depending on how one would depict it.

'What is this?' Virtya asked himself over again.

He opened his eyes and the book disappeared from his view which made Virtya to sigh.

'Just like I thought. I have started seeing things once again. I thought since I have reincarnated, this would have stopped but it seemed that my years of deep meditation were not left behind. Poor me, I can not even have a peaceful sleep! Damn!'

Virtya closed his eyes once again and this time round, he saw darkness which was naturally, it made him to sigh happily but the moment he thought about the book, it appeared again which spooked him this time round that he nearly jumped out of his skin.

TECHNOLOGY!

The words stood firmly on the surface on the book cover.

'Is it because of me working in a library for most of my previous life which has made my eyes to only see books?' Virtya asked himself. He thought of other things but they didn't appear, only darkness prevailed thus, he thought about the book again and this time round, he collected himself and gave himself the courage and then he willed the book open.

'No, no, no! This can't be!' Virtya panicked and he trembled uncontrollably.

Do you know what this book can do? This is a heavenly sent treasure that was worth killing billions of people just for one to get their hands on this book.

If this book found its way out there, rivers of blood will follow for certain.

'But I haven't opened the book yet, let me see if what I am thinking is true.'

While still panicking, Virtya opened the first page of chapter 1.

This!

Virtya became restless and agitated.

After reading this topic, Virtya could not keep calm again. He closed the book and opened his eyes,

He was really tired as maintaining that state had drained him completely. Nonetheless, a wide grin could not leave his face, he couldn't imagine that he got his hands on such a treasure on this backward world.

'I now have a plan on how I am going to transform the lives of the denizens of this kingdom and bring the kingdom to newer heights.' Virtya said internally.

"But how am I going to go about it? The denizens don't have faith in me, everything is a mess... What now?" Virtya hollered crazily which made the petite lady to cast a weird look at him.

Of course, her name was Tanya Beinsky and she was the commander of all the knights of the Azuhai kingdom. All this information, Virtya had unfolded after he received the memory of the previous king Virtya.

According to the previous king Virtya, Tanya Beinsky was the person that he mostly trusted.

Anyway, with the technological information from the book entitled 'Technology', now what?
