"Okay, this is the form that you'd need to sign," Lev said, handing the document to Michael. "And how are you planning to pay again? With cash? I noticed you don't seem to have a bag or anything that looks like you're carrying that amount of money. Or are you planning to pay with a card?"
"Would it be possible to pay through a bank transfer?" Michael inquired, pulling out his phone.
"It depends on your bank's policies. Ten million pesos is quite a substantial amount; most banks have a daily limit for transfers that might be below this," Lev explained, observing Michael's calm demeanor.
"Give me a moment," Michael said, reaching for his phone and then contacting the bank's hotline.
Seconds later, it was received by one of their agents.
"Hello, I would like to speak to
someone about temporarily lifting my daily transfer limit. I need to make a significant purchase today," Michael spoke into the phone, his tone firm yet polite.
