"God, it's crazy, why can't you face it, or so they thought. I'm getting married to Donald today, and nothing you can particularly do can change it." We began slapping each other, going back and forth multiple times, until I finally halted this pointless "battle" in a quiet manner. I couldn't take her always blocking me from being with Donald, but she couldn't stop me from marrying Donald today.
"You're also confronted with it in a major way. For all intents and purposes, you will never be good enough for him." I wanted to smack her again because of the way she gnashed her teeth, but I didn't know what I'd done to have her so firmly refuse to accept me.
