“Ruby, it’s important that you keep your voice down. We don’t know who else Severin knows here,” Chris cautioned again. “Apparently he has some kind of bipolar disorder since his teenage years. Only his close friends and family members know about it.”
“Listen Chris, it all sounds believable, but how do we know whether this guy is actually telling the truth?” Ferrel asked cautiously.
“Well, he appears to have only good intentions,” Chris explained. “He is concerned that Severin might lose it again sometime in the future.”
“What is his name, then?” Ruby asked, now totally alert.
“He says his name is Tom Adams, but everyone calls him Tommy,” Chris responded.
“What he says could make sense,” Ruby said, with a serious expression on her face. She decided to inform her family members about the situation until they discovered whether it was true or not. It was better that her family knew so they could be cautious of anyone that would approach them in the future.
