SOMETHING DARK

When the doctor came, I was called to follow him to Bella's room.

She was sleeping so peaceful with her head on ken's chest I was surprised because Bella never let any guy that close to her.

The doctor was also surprise because he knows Bella too well. He is very close to our father so apart from being our family doctor he is also a family friend.

He wanted to say something but ken placed his hand on his mouth indicating he should not say anything to avoid waking her up.

"Lisa she just slept off just give her few minutes to rest more" ken said to me in a whisper

"Okay we will come back later ones she is awake " I said with a little smile on my face as I left with the doctor.

"Are you sure that was Bella because the Bella I know will never let any guy that close to her " Dr Alexander said immediately we left the room

"She is trying to change and am glad she has someone like Ken by her side " I replied

"Am glad she is trying to be better, this will really help her with her nightmares and the black out, I think she is starting to learn how to let go " Dr Alex said as I nodded in agreement.

We want to the living room and we started talking , after what seems like an hour I saw ken heading our way.

"I think she is ready to see the doctor " he said

"Okay, Dr Alex meet ken and ken meet Dr Alex our family doctor " I said as the both of them shake hands with each other.

"It really nice to meet you Ken "

"You too doctor " he replied

"lets go check up on Bella " I said to the both of them but Ken told me he will be back that he needs to take a quick bath then he will join us.

"So how is she?" I asked immediately the doctor was through with examining her.

"She is fine, she is stable just weak, she really needs a lot of rest though"

"Sis I told you am fine" Bella said with a smile

"Well am not buying that, you said that tons of time when you were never fine"I said

"Don't worry Lisa she will be fine " Dr Alex said.

Before he left he told Bella he likes the new change that she should keep pushing.

I was about going over to Mark's room after taking a shower but it was more like he read my mind.

"Hey how is Bella " he asked as he entered my room

"She is much better,but seriously you did not even bother to check on her " I said to him

"Actually I did, but I overhead your conversation with her, so she is really Mr stones daughter and he really killed her grandparents? " he said

"Yes she is his daughter, as much as I hate to admit it but it just happened to be like that"

"Poor Bella " Mark said with his face looking like a baby who lost his candy

"Okay that's enough, let's not mention about her story again especially in front of her, so come let's go and see her okay " I said as we both left to Bella's room.

Uncle Smith got the news that I wasn't feeling too fine and he did not finish his meeting and rushed home to check on me

"Uncle am fine, you have checked my temperature for like how many times now"

"When I told you take care of yourself and your sister I did not mean you should neglect yourself " he said in one of his serious tone. Well Ken was right he really care about me, I did not notice because all I wanted was revenge and I also pushed and punished people who care about me with my father's sin. Is time I start giving people a chance, but first thing is first Mr stones must pay for all he has caused a lot of people.

"Am hungry, can we eat please or I might really die this time around "I said trying to change the topic

"Bella don't change the topic " uncle said

"So tell me uncle how was your trip" I said as I keep changing the topic as I dragged everybody to the dining room to have our breakfast.

"Well it was peaceful but there is something we need to discuss later about Mr Michael " he said

We were all sitting in the room waiting for him. I wonder what he wants to say.

"Okay guys let's get on with this, as we all know Mr Michael is Mr stones second man in the business world, we don't know what he does for Mr stones in the underworld "he said

"Yes but that was the reasons why we applied for the job we just secured " Lisa said a little confused

"Well I decided to disguise myself as a very rich Italian man who wants to partner and do business with Mr Michael and I find out that aside from helping Mr stones with his drug dealings he is also into human trafficking " uncle said

"What!!!!!? Mark shouted

"How can he be trying to keep his own family safe mean while he is using other children for human trafficking " Lisa said

I was quiet the whole time and I was not surprised about the whole trafficking thing. Some people are really selfish

"So uncle this means our mission has changed"

"Not really, I still need you guys on the inside because we can't get any evidence out here" he said

"So that means we need a strong evidence against him " ken said

"But wait, even if we happen to get what we need to bring Mr Michael down what are we going to do? Get him arrested? Mark asked

"No getting him arrested is a fair punishment, we are going to turn him against Mr stones, I want them to be the ones to kill each other " I said as I smiled but a wicked smile .
