THE STORM IS OVER NOW

Death finally stood on her feet to face Life who then said,"I hope none of you believed any of those lies she told you, trust me, she's only in for herself."

"I don't care if none of you believe me..."She said,"... I'm going to do what's best."

I realized something bad was going to happen and blue dust over shadowed my body then the Knight walked forward and said,"Wait!"

Seth and Samuel, who were starry eyed, said,"Awesome..."

The two looked at him then the Knight said,"Master, please don't do this."

Life looked at him and said,"I don't want to hurt anyone, Death on the other hand, won't think twice before murdering an unborn child and her mother, I just want to bring joy to the world, peace, tranquility, wouldn't you be happy if no one had to die ever again? If no one was evil, no one was a victim to maltreatment or disasters, natural or man- made, if you could get your own physical body?"

The Knight was quiet till the girl began to laugh maniacally then asked,"You literally are believing this guy?! There is more chaos in his own mind than all of yours combined, he doesn't want to make you happy, he wants to make you all his puppets."

"Don't listen to her!"He yelled.

"Why? Are you afraid that I might spill the beans?"She asked.

"Enough!"He yelled.

The ground cracked in two and lightning struck all around and we were shocked to see all the death he caused at that moment.

He stuttered,"I...it wasn't my fault, she tricked me."

She then said,"He isn't that spirit of life, neither does he want peace, he's the spirit of deception and greed, and your master has been dead for millennia, at his hands."

"She's lying!"He yelled.

Both Chief Nadula and the night looked at him, with tears even in Chief Nadula's eyes as he said,"My children, none of this is true, who will you believe? Her or me?"

Chief Nadula then said,"I believe you, master."

And bowed before him then he grinned till he saw the girl pointing down and looked to see dust evaporating from his skin as Chief Nadula made an incantation.

He yelled and kicked him, throwing him onto all of us, but the damage was done and he turned into his true form and we were all shocked and had to protect the children, it was the being from Seth's nightmares...

It had glowing blood red eyes and long, purplish black bat wings with spines at the corners, at his back.

His long arms had frightening finger nails which stretched several feet and his face looked like that of a bat and warthog mixed together, we were all frightened as he yelled,"You fool! Look at what you've done!"

"Tsk, tsk, tsk."The girl said,"It's not so fun being the bad guy, is it?"

He then said,"It doesn't matter, once I've wiped this universe and created a new one, no one will know, not even you."

"Can you bet on it?"She asked.

He then roared loudly and the ground shook as through the huge cracks in the ground, all sorts of terrifying beings crawled out.

There were the skeletons of all dead creatures, dinosaurs, monsters, animals, even beings from other universes, with rotten flesh dangling from their bodies.

He pointed at us and they all charged from all directions then the girl squinted her eyes as I asked,"What's the plan?"

"Don't die."She said, then vanished.

She appeared in the sky and fell to the ground, crumbling it with a violet explosion which covered several hundreds of the creatures and they were immediately under her control.

I ran forwards then jumped with a Tsunami behind me which crushed the ground it landed on and went on to destroy several thousand of the creatures...or at least that was what I thought as their bodies reassembled, but the bones mixed from different creatures in different ways, making bigger, scarier combinations.

I looked at the children, who were crying together then yelled,"Everyone! Protect the kids and the remaining people! Indigo, dad, we're going to mom..."

When the girl landed, a bullet like object shot at her but her mother came to protect her in time, but was exploded into pieces and the girl was still thrown back by the force.

She got up, harmed, but still undead and dodged as the spirit of Deception and Greed threw his claws into the ground, then she opened the ground and he fell through,but started flying up till several undead creatures under her own control started dragging him down.

She ran to her mother, who was being corrupted by the spirit's power and tried to heal her but screamed as she was thrown into the air and struck down by lightning.

The spirit cracked his neck as she slowly got to her knees and held her by the neck and said,"Turns out I'm not going to have to give you life, I'll rather make you one of my slaves."

He then slammed her body into the ground and punched her repeatedly in the face, then threw her up and slammed her body into the ground again, then lifted her above his head and started tearing her apart while she screamed but someone yelled,"Let her go you big bully!"

He turned towards the two human boys who dared face him, then grinned, at least some entertainment.

He dropped the girl to the floor then snapped his fingers and they were immediately encased in powerful enlightened armour then he used his fingers to depict the saying,"Bring it on."

They charged at him but then he yelled in pain as the girl had stabbed the back of his knee with one of her mother's bones, then he threw his claws at her but she caught them with one arm and tore off one of his wings with the other.

She then spat blood on his face and said,"Be gone."

Some colourful lines of light arose from the ground around him and he struggled as he was being pulled down by a force he couldn't overcome, he then swore,"I'll be back! You haven't won!!!"

She then looked back at the boys, who felt useless then said,"At least you still got the armour."

"Oh yeah!"Samuel said.

"Check me out, I look like Hercules."Seth said.

At that moment, the armour disintegrated into the air and they had nothing as she laughed at them.

They came to the rest of us and Alexa looked around then asked,"Could you like, reverse this? Our lights can't."

She shook her head and said,"I destroy, I don't repair, only he can."

We then all looked at a white light that descended from above, to show a boy of about thirteen, but we couldn't identify his face, because it belonged to every boy of his age, that we had seen in the entire multiverse of multiverses.

He smiled as he opened his arms and all the damage was reversed, but no one came back to life.

I then asked,"Why is everywhere empty?"

"Because I can only bring back people if they died before their time, and all these ones didn't, I'm sorry."He said.

Alex went forward then asked,"But could you at least bring back Phyllis?"

The boy looked at the girl, who shrugged, then he looked back at Alex and said,"She's already with you."

He didn't know what that meant till later, but the boy had an announcement to make,"Under normal circumstances, Death and I would battle till one is completely subdued, or the other, but we have reached an agreement, we will from now on rule together, governing what happens and when, there will be no more war."

We smiled as he continued,"Now where's the food cause I'm starving..."

Yes, we had to make a huge barbeque in the honour of Death's and Life's unity, but before we were done, they broke the news,"Our work here is done, it's time for us to go."

"Death! No, please!"Samuel yelled,"I love you!"

She looked at him then asked,"You do realize I'm an undead spirit who has no chance of procreating, right?"

"Meh, it's worth the shot."He shrugged.

"It's time."She said.

I looked at her, confused, and asked,"Why are you saying it like that?"

"Because it's time for us to go."My father said.

I looked at him, with tears already welling up in my eyes then said,"No, you can't go again, I won't let you."

He smiled then brushed some hair away from my face and said,"I'm not going anywhere, but to sleep."

I then hugged him tightly, crying in his arms as he said it will be alright, brushing my back.

Alex, Alexa and my mom also came to hug him tightly, then the girl said,"It's time."

He wiped the tears from our faces and said,"I love you all."

He then kissed my mother's forehead, then walked away, fading away as he moved.

Alex went next but said to me,"Never forget me."

I was crying as I asked,"How could I?"

He smiled then walked away, and faded as well.

Alexa hugged Trevor and he said,"I have to go."

"No, I'm not letting you go, please, stay."She begged.

"Oh Alexa..."He said,"...I love you more than anyone or anything, but so does Curtis and you have to give him a chance and move on, for me."

He kissed her on the nose, then faded away and her hands were pulled together as she had been hugging him, then she burst into tears and Curtis came closer then she hugged him, crying on his shoulder as he said it will be alright, shedding tears of his own.

It was now time for the two to leave, but Samuel yelled,"Please don't go, I'll be miserable without you."

"You were miserable with me."She retorted,"Besides you'll see me again, in your nightmares."

Life then patted her shoulder, then she opened her arms and all those meant to be dead simply, faded away, then they did.

Samuel then took a knife then said,"If she goes, them I will come after her!"

He thrusted it at his belly, but it stopped an inch away then he frowned at Seth and asked,"Won't you like, try to stop me?"

"Why? Who cares about you?"He asked.

I sat down on the balcony, watching the sunset with tears in my eyes then Indigo came to sit by me and said,"I'm sorry your father couldn't stay."

I turned to him and asked,"What are you talking about? He's right here, dad."

He was shocked to hear that then asked,"Did you just call me..."

I slowly hugged him and said,"I love you, dad."

He smiled then said,"I love you too, son."

Alex looked at Phyllis's grave then said,"I'm so sorry, my love..."

Then he sensed her come behind him...Ama.

He looked at her as she also lay a rose on the grave then looked at him and burst into tears and he hugged her, then at that moment, remembered Life's words, and understood them...

"Ama, will you marry me?"...
