SETTLED ON A DECISION

My mom sat opposite Indigo then he smiled.

She frowned and didn't pay attention to the staring crowd in the restaurant.

Despite their ages, Indigo and my mother's good looks made them extreme head turners with heads turned and feet following everywhere they went.

My mom looked at him sternly as he lightly smiled then she asked coldly,"What do you want?"

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for all what I did to you, I was stupid and a coward and..."

My mom burst into hysterical laughter which made all the men turn in her direction, even the younger ones.

Indigo was confused as he asked,"What's going on?"

She then made a deadly serious expression then asked,"You think by beating yourself up I'll run back into your arms? I'll rather do as much as I can to make it worse so I'll enjoy your suffering."

He sighed then said,"Felicia, please, forgive me, I beg you for another chance."

"You had your chance and you blew it, I'm leaving."She said.

She stood up but he held her hand tightly with a sorry expression on his face but she didn't hesitate to punch him across the face, but he still didn't let go.

She yelled for him to let her go but he said,"No, I'm not letting you go, never again."

She punched him again, harder, but he didn't make any effort to dodge, block or stop her.

His head turned from the impact and the crowd gasped but he turned back to her, showing his tears mingled with the blood flowing from his eyebrow.

She looked into his cold silver eyes then burst into tears and he hugged her gently.

She looked at him again then he drew nearer for a kiss.

She drew nearer as well then stopped at the last minute then walked out of his grip and said,"I haven't forgiven you yet, but I'll allow you to see your son, that's the only thing i can assure you of."

He immediately started to cry tears of joy then said,"Thank you, Felicia."

She kept a straight face and was about to leave when he rushed to open the door for her and offered to drive her home, she didn't like the idea and expected him to murder her in some swamp somewhere, but she agreed.

She was getting into the car when her traditional gele removed and Indigo was stunned when he saw her hair.

She immediately corrected it but he slowly removed it then said,"I want to see your true colours."

She frowned at him and kicked him in the shin, hard, then said,"You don't get to like my hair."

Then she got in the car and he went to the driver's seat.

A teacher was giving his lesson when he saw a student scribbling away with his pen.

He frowned then walked towards Curtis and stretched his arm to take the sheet of paper from him but Curtis gripped his arm tightly then said in a threatening voice,"Don't you dare touch it."

The teacher saw the bright white flickering glow in his eyes and the even darker black lines then at that moment, Curtis roughly let go of his arm.

He massaged his wrist as he walked away, relieved that nothing bad happened.

He also realized Curtis wasn't using his normal art style of naked women but this time, the girl was appropriately dressed and he didn't let the teacher take the picture with an insulting note, rather, he defended it and the picture was of the principal, his ex girlfriend...
