Nikola stood frozen in the doorway as Riley leaned down and kissed the woman that Nikola loved more than life itself. 

Melissa kissed her back! 

Nikola felt her blood run cold as she watched the woman, she loved smile into the kiss and scoot over so that Riley could sit beside her. They didn't even notice her standing there as they continued off the song that Melissa had been playing previously seamlessly. Riley smiled down at the woman fondly and wrapped her arm around Melissa's waist, eliciting a giggle from the raven-haired woman. Nikola bit her lip at the sight. She hadn't heard that sound in a while. 

She couldn't take it anymore. 

She cleared her throat harshly. Melissa's small body stiffened and jumped slightly when she heard the sound. Riley growled but the growl died in her throat when she saw that it was Nikola who had cleared their throat. 

"N-Nix," she stuttered and stood up from the bench.
