Hers and Hers Alone

Arabelle yawned as they got into the car after leaving the already ruined party. Her head swayed lightly as the car moved but she quickly returned to her normal position. She was struggling to stay awake.

  As they sped further down the road, she eventually fell asleep with her head landing on Asher's shoulder.

  Asher didn't move her head away and he didn't show any expression as if he felt the weight of someone else on his shoulder. The car moved slowly along the road till they finally got home.

  Asher turned to his head to the side to stare at the sleeping girl. Her long hair covered half of her face while the other half was faced downwards. She looked really peaceful while sleeping.

Asher slowly carried her out of the car and headed up the stairs. He gently placed her on the bed and removed her high heels. He covered her with the blanket and switched the light to a darker shade before leaving the room quietly .
