Drugged

Staying in the car for several hours, Nina's eyes remained glued to the entrance of the company. The sun had already set and the skies were becoming dark and weary. Time had passed by in a flash but Nina had already made up her mind to wait until Ryder came out of the office.

  Her eyes brightened when she saw him step out of the office with several of his bodyguards. Hurriedly, she stepped out of the car and ran to him but the bodyguards quickly formed a circle around him, making Nina screech to a halt.

  "Ryder, I need to talk to you." Nina tried to see him through the firm shield the bodyguards had formed around him but she couldn't. Everything still seemed surreal to her. Overnight, she had managed to become a stranger.

  With a wave of his hand, the bodyguards quickly returned back to their normal positions.
