Today will be the last chemo session before we do the tests again.
Kati has asked me to come with.
Things are still the same; we are wonderful together, my life with my wife and boys is absolutely perfect. The only thing that can make this even better is when they are finally going to be born. The time is creeping closer and closer now, and I cannot wait.
She is thirty-three weeks pregnant.
Every time we go for the scans, it is just more and more of a miracle to me that they shall soon be here and that I can hold them in my arms. I am counting the weeks, counting the days. Kati herself cannot wait. She is going to be a great mother.
We just need to get through this…the chemo.
Today when we get to the chemo room, it is oddly empty. The lady that always used to be there on the same day is not there today. As the nurse is busy putting the drip in, she asks the nurse, "What happened to Belinda?"
