...Sebastian POV...
It has been a week since we have returned from our trip. While we made the flight back home, I asked Kati if we can have some sort of a ceremony, even if it was just a dinner with our friends and family to give ourselves to each other as husband and wife again.
So we are finding us at some quiet little restaurant down the road here from us in town. I can honestly say that I have never seen Kati so radiant as I have seen her in days. The next round of chemo is coming up, and she promised me that this time she would go.
As she sits here next to me, I know that I will never love another woman so much as I love her. And when she speaks next, my body tingles at the mere words that sound like the whispers of angels.
"Sebastian, thank you for doing this for me."
"I will do anything for you. Absolutely anything."
