Born To Fight

Wilson has a dream to become a pro-wrestler. he goes against his mom's wishes to follow his dream, and he will do anything to become a successful fighter. He does not get into the academy but gets caught in the scandal of various nobles. Then he joins the revolutionaries to rebel against nobles but soon realises he can't give up his dream. Note: This novel is definitely not one of those cultivation type of books the MC is some OP dude, with girls flocking around him and the likes. cos it is simply not one of them. He makes lots of impulsive decisions and is understandably naive. He will only grow stronger as the novel progresses. So, if this doesn't look like what you prefer, at least do not post some annoying reviews. Thanks for understanding.

Chapter 98- Cursed?

"What? Oh! Hello." Wilson greeted. Initially, he was confused. Luckily, he got his bearings fast enough otherwise, the lady would not have hesitated to smack his head in a bid to jog his memory. He stood up and extended his hand for a shake.

"Hello, I am..." He started.

"Don't bother!" She cut him off. "I am not interested in knowing who you are. You look tired. You should sleep for a while. Journey will take about four hours. At worst by noon, you should have been dropped. Do you understand?"

"Yes ma'am!" Wilson answered, nodding his head vigorously. There was something about her that gave him scary vibes.

"Good boy. Till then, don't disturb me!" She said and leaned back on the chair and dozed off.

Wilson looked around. There were three rows of chairs arranged with spaces for movement interspersed in between each of them. The lady sat on the rightmost side, next to the door and so, he chose to sit down on one of the foremost at the other side; the left side.

He groaned as he sat down. Contrary to the way the chairs looked, it was very very comfortable. So much that Wilson dozed off in minutes and ended up sleeping for approximately two and a half hours.

When he woke up, he noticed seven others in the train with him. Two men, three women - one of whom looked like a crossbreed between some unknown animal with spotted fur and human - and lastly two average little boys - twins - who looked no more than twelve years and glared viciously at him when they noticed him looking at them continuously.

In his mind, he was wondering what they were doing inside the train; which was a stupid question because trains were public forms of transport.

He later bent his head and played with his phone, messing around somewhat cluelessly with it for quite some time, before he finally found the fighting tutorial videos that Jim had mentioned saving in there. There was a lot of videos and so, for the next hour, he watched video after video. Some were fighting techniques, ranging from basic moves to complex moves and even some that gave tips about abilities and how to counter them. Others were survival related. There were various supposed survival gurus, dishing out advices on how to attack the weak points of both male and female opponents. Some were classic tutorials like hitting the solar plexus, throat, etc but there were also some very very despicable moves. For example, a certain hairy Pro-tuber(a popular multinational streaming platform), who claimed to have been a soldier, hunter and wrestler spoke about, and taught moves to counter attacks from women especially. He even showed live practicals by facing off against other combat tutors; usually women. The skills all involved sticking very close to the opponent and giving them no chance to hit him properly, but in reality, it was obvious he was just using that as an excuse to grope the women. Unsurprisingly, he had millions of fans.

Before Wilson knew it, the voluptuous woman who was assisting him to run for his life, woke and tapped his shoulder.

"Time to go. Brace yourself!" She said and in one swift move, she grabbed his shoulder, opened the door of the train and threw him out into a thick set of overgrown shrubs. She waved and blew him a kiss before abruptly shutting the door. Her job was done!

"Aaaah!..Uggh!" Wilson groaned and cursed as he stood up. The damn, harmless-looking shrubs had treacherous thorns hidden behind their green leaves.

He stood up and looked at his scratched, slightly bleeding body in anger. He was tempted to curse at that... that uncourteous lady who casually tossed him like he was made of paper. She should have at least given him a warning. Fortunately, his phone was saved in time. What would he have done without those guides on it. He would be doomed. He put it in his pocket and brought out his gloves from his spatial backpack: the gloves he got from Old Rogers, who did not look old in any way. Whatever happened for him to have gotten such a name anyway?

With his gloves on and phone back in hand, Wilson followed the map and took great strides towards one of the many entrances of Forest Garden that was located in a small forest of trees, roared to harbor nocturnal carnivores with wood, earth or darkness abilities. Scary, isn't it? Well, Wilson did not have more choice, hence, he was once again entering another forest.

"Am I cursed?" He murmured to himself. He was beginning to believe that he was cursed by some forest goddess or something. He grumbled in exasperation as he took his first step into fairly lit forest. He did not have any good feelings about this forest.

************

The voluptuous lady that had tossed Wilson like a piece of paper sat back down and picked a call that came in through her smart watch.

"Yes! I am very sure.... Wilson! Yes... Forest Garden.... I don't care whether you find him or not! That is your problem. I have given you the info you wanted, I want to see some extra zeroes in my account in the next five minutes... Don't f*ck with me... Giving you his general location is my job. Getting rid of him is your responsibility! There's a load of difference. Send me my money!"

*Click* *crack*

She cut the call and broke the smartwatch instantly. She had just given away the location of Wilson but one could not blame her. That was just what she did for a living.

She had done her job as requested by Vox and Horr and now, she had just delivered the information requested for by those who were after Wilson. For some, it might mean a lack of business integrity but to her, it was good, lucrative business.
