She was in the dark and might find an answer in the office.
It was getting dark.
Someone was not sleeping.
In his bedroom, Jordy still looked sullen after a shower. His anger at Gloria hadn't subsided.
His phone rang. It was a call from a number he hadn't saved as a contact.
Jordy and Gloria had the same habit of not saving phone numbers. Their memories were retentive.
It was Harold calling, and he answered the phone.
"Mr. Collins, I've instructed our men to look into it, but those people are good at concealing themselves. There aren't many traces for the time being."
"What kind of answer is this?" Jordy's voice was chilling.
Harold said again, "Those who insulted Miss White and the attackers are two groups of people who have one thing in common. They were paid to do these things. I suspected it was Angela, but there isn't any clue leading to her."
Jordy furrowed his brows but made no comments.
