Mr. Thomas walked into his study and locked the door behind him, he peered around the room and settled on a chair in front of his desk. Ever since the day when Mr. Gonzalez made the announcement about handing over to his son, he had been on edge, he loved the old man and didn't hold a personal grudge against him or his son but he stood to gain more if Smith Rogers took over and not Jeremy. Sure Mr Gonzalez had raised Rogers but everyone knew that he was the one who was there emotionally for Rogers when he was a child. And he wasn't going to sit and watch idly as someone else took over what he had invested his heart and soul into. He didn't stand a chance at becoming the next CEO but the next best thing was having someone who could easily be his puppet as the CEO.
He picked up his phone and laid a call through to his worker, the same man who his daughter had called weird looking the other day.
"Hello sir" the man quickly answered.
