You know how Harry Potter describes apparition? Well for a while now I've been experiencing the same feeling, being forcibly pulled through a straw. At first I panicked, it's quite scary, after a while though I finally got used to it.
Just as I was starting to feel comfortable I begun to see colors, no not the light at the end of the tunnel. It was a different feeling from all the other deaths I've been through, it was nice actually, warm even. Once I finally got my bearing I could see a huge forest in front of me, it was clearly ancient from the way the trees many times larger than myself.
The first thing I checked out was my skill screen to see what had changed.

FIND YOUR PLACE IN THIS WORLD
----
Seeing that I realized my unstable trait changed and I now had a new goal, one find out who my parents are and two to find my place in this world.
Looking down to check out my body, I realized I was short. Well I'd always been short, 5'7", but now I felt even shorter. My hands looked like that of a child with no calluses and I was only in a pair of tan shorts. Reaching out I also realized that the arcane I'd grown so used to now felt weird like a blanket or a curtain. I was beginning to suspect that I was no longer in Yharnam, I had thought that escaping the dream would bring me to a saved Yharnam but now I realized I was most likely massively wrong.
I started to walk around, I wanted to preserve my strength because I felt a lot weaker then I used to be. Even if I still felt far stronger then any kid my age should be. Giving a light jump just to get a feel for my newfound weakness, I went up with a 5' vertical. I realized that I was inhumanly strong for my body size yet I still felt to weak.
As I walked around looking for any signs of humans, I finally found a trail. I couldn't know which direction to follow to find people but to be honest making a choice is better then no choice. Reaching out to the arcane I started to feel for an answer, I noticed slight ripples mainly heading east so I followed. It was trully annoying though as the arcane felt resistant to my manipulations like it didn't want to give. Once I find a place that's mildly safe I'll have to deep dive into the arcane here and find out why.
After walking for around an hour I ran into... something, yes something not human. I could see that the arcane was trying to hide what this thing was from me, it was 8' tall with muscles rippling across its body. With a small tuft of black hair and a singular beady eye it looked at me.
*Sniff... sniff* "Smell like... demigod, are you demigod? Come here little demigod, let me eat you."
For some reason I felt that the term demigod was familar, but after years in Yharnam I couldn't remember why. But I knew one thing, this thing was able to smell me, and it wanted to eat me. I had no weapon on hand but I felt this monster would be easy to kill even with my tiny body. I didn't know why but confidence filled me as I looked at it, to the point where I was feeling cocky, but years of fighting in that bloody war taught me that being cocky was a good way to die.
I could feel the physical strength this monster exuded through the arcane though and I knew it was weaker then me. Deciding to play it safe though I snuck up behind it and jumped on its shoulders, grabbing its head I spun it around so that it was facing me. Snapping its neck with ease I fell to the ground as the monster slowly turned into dust before my eyes.
"That's different... at least it had a knife."
To be fair though the knife looked more like a short sword in my hands, what was really weird was that the blade was a golden bronze color. There was nothing other then that setting it apart for the other blades I'd ever seen but still, it was unique. I had no sheath to hold my new sword, I kept walking while holding it in hand.
I had been walking for a few hours now and I had yet to find civilization and I had started to think that maybe I was in a world that had very few humans. If that were so then I was going to be upset, that ment my new goals would be much harder to complete. It was getting late so I figured it was time to get some food, I was pretty good at concealing myself so I hopped into the trees and hide my presence.
As silent as possible I hopped from tree to tree until from my vantage point I spotted a deer. Moving even more silently through the trees until I was right above it, I dropped down onto its back while swinging my sword at its neck. With a thud the deers head hit the ground.
I didn't have any rope so my skinning process was all done on the ground, it took me until night fall to finish, mainly because I had to stop and start a fire for cooking. Once I was done though I cut off a straight branch from a tree, I shaved off all the bark and some of the wood and put it above the fire so that it would harden. After a few minutes of waiting I sharped the stick to a point and impaled a slab of the meat to start cooking. I buried one end of the stick so that the meat would be elevated above the fire to cook while I would spin the meat often to cook thoroughly.
While I cooked though I worked on making a spit so that I could smoke the rest of the meat. It would take up to ten hours but that was fine for me. Once I was finished I also hung the skin up above the fire as well, it wouldn't be a great tanning as I only knew the basics but I needed to make at least a backpack to carry all the meat in.

Well... I tried, I only wrote cause the battlefield is kicking my ass. See any errors? Lemme know I'll try and fix em. Guess who his parent is.
