JOINING FORCES
NIKO'S POV
"How did it go?" I asked Talon while we took a stroll in the east garden that had an Ice rink where we spent time relaxing and ensuring our beast maintained balance.
" On Niko, I wanted to rip his pants off and sink my fangs in his sexy ass," Talon growled.
" I would say the same. I leaned down to whisper in his ear and his vein popped out blood pumping and I had to rush out of the room before I embarrassed myself" Silas seethed.
" How can we be called the Lords' of the Sith Castle when we are drawn to an Elisera slave? "Talon added.
" He is beautiful, headstrong, and perfect. If he were a vampire, he would be an unmatched breed that would thrive and protect Sith mountains. " I stated.
" No wonder Advisor Maxwell was so happy to help us. He is also awed by Cedric Charon" Talon nodded. We walked to the three Ice-curved seats and sat down majestically. As usual, Silas was on my right, and Talon was on my left.
" I sent him on a mission to Elisera. I want more information about his lineage. I want to know how strong he is" I added.
" We need to deal with enforcers and the coven council or else we shall find Cedric in a body bag like the other slaves" Silas seethed.
The two maids assigned to serve the Ice rink garden arrived.
" Greetings your majesties " They bowed.
" Just place them on the table and leave, " Talon snapped.
The maids raised their eyebrows hurriedly placed the blood-filled jugs and wine glasses on the ice tables and rushed off.
" You don't need to be so mean, they have been waiting to serve us for a while now" Silas huffed.
" His impatience is showing, " I nodded.
" How do we get Cedric to come to us? " Talon rubbed his temples.
" Lenora is the answer," I answered.
" Let us summon Claudio, he is the best bet in covering for us if the coven decides to be difficult. " Silas urged.
" Guards," Talon yelled.
The guards came rushing and bowed.
" Greetings your majesties, what do you need?"
" Send word to the enforcer's office and have Deputy Enforcer Claudio rush over" Talon Instructed.
" Noted your majesty" They bowed and left.
Ten minutes later a panting Claudio rushed over and bowed " Greetings your majesties""
"Rise" Talon instructed him while Silas smirked. I remained passive as I watched how out of breath and worried he was by being summoned by us.
" Thank you, Your Majesty," He responded.
" Thank you for rushing over. I would urge you to instruct your guards to take a step back further, we would like to have a private conversation" Silas raised his voice.
Claudio nodded and then raised his hand and the guards moved further back. He raised it again and they seemed adamant and then he yelled " Buzz off" and they disappeared from the Ice rink garden.
" What do you need, your majesty?" He faced us.
" Claudio, we have a job for you. We need the two slaves we selected protected from your boss Enforcer Warren, Her Highness Gisela, and His Highness Ciaran. And more sore is our Aunty Thana. " Silas spoke up.
" Guardian Lenora briefed me your majesty" Claudio muttered through gritted teeth.
" You sound displeased, " Talon observed.
" I am not your majesties" He responded and I realized he was pretending.
" Really?" I got off my chair and walked over to him. The smell of Fabian Alator was all over his body although he had bathed to hide it. My sense of smell between the three of us was enhanced and I watched the way Claudio swallowed hard.
" Yes, your majesties " His response was now hushed and guarded.
" Do you know what the greatest power of Niko is?" Talon leaned back and drew.
" No your majesty " Claudio now was almost in a state of panic.
" His sense of smell" Silas chuckled.
Claudio remained mute and his hands fisted at his sides.
" Why do you smell of Fabian Alator and alcohol? What did you do last night?" I towered over him and demanded.
Claudio closed his eyes and then went down on his knees and bowed " Punish me your majesties "
" Get the fuck up and speak " Silas got off his chair and moved to stand next to me, shoulder to shoulder"
Claudio remained on his knees and his mouth was closed in a tight lip stance.
" Get the fuck up right now! " Talon's voice rose and we felt the ice rink garden shake.
Claudio hurriedly stood up but his head remained bowed.
" I will speak the truth, Your Majesty, and you can decide the punishment you see fit " Claudio whispered.
" Go on" I stepped forward.
" My sister Guardian Lenora took me to meet Fabian. And the minute I set my eyes on him, I lost it. I buried myself in alcohol but last night, I spotted him sneaking out of the private quarters. I might have gone overboard and I know what I did is punishable by death but I never violated him your majesties"
" So you are saying that the feeling was mutual?" Silas smirked.
" What I am sure of is that my beast wanted to imprint on him." Claudio stated " Your majesty.
" Mmmh" Talon responded "Were you able to read his mind?"
Claudio raised his head and it dawned on him that we needed information.
" You are not angry with your majesties?" He asked in shock.
"No" We all responded in unison.
" But if anyone else finds out you are doomed. You were careless and never covered the scent of Fabian on you" I scolded him.
He rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment and then answered " Because my mind was still in turmoil Your Majesty"
" What about Cedric?" Talon raised the question Silas and I wanted to ask.
" He never left his quarters. But I suspect Enforcer Warren has been assigned to spy on him. Yesterday he asked me to follow Guardian Lenora to the royal garden and pretend to be doing patrol shifts. But I know he just wanted me to find out what my sister was up to. When I got there and spotted Cedric, I immediately realized he was using me to gain information about your majesties"
"Of course" Silas growled.
" May I suggest Your Majesty? " I hurriedly spoke up.
" I know that you have an idea that would be suited for all of us, taking into account you already committed the greatest sin" Talon's eyes blazed at him.
" I can escort both Fabian and Cedric to your inner chambers tonight, your majesties " He stated.
"That is an excellent Idea " Silas finally smiled.
" What about Enforcer Warren?" Talon asked.
" Leave him to me. For now, he is sulking after the way you hit him, your majesty" Claudi informed us.
" And the coven?" I asked
" I will liaise with my sister to make it happen. I promise to bring them to you but Claudio whispered.
" But what? " My eyes flashed
He shamelessly asked " Let me have my time with Fabian Alator, your majesties. "
His statement made us all burst out in laughter and our voices boomed in the whole of the ice rink garden.
