The slim but sinewed Serge smiled timidly at the curvy ebony-haired young lady at the desk who was then wearing her uniform of a violet blouse and black pencil cut knee-length skirt.

"Miss, which is The Supervisor's office?" the young hopeful asked bashfully as he rubbed the back of his neck with one manly and long-fingered hand. "He's currently expecting me."
