You Don't Have a Choice

I have never met a vampire before, Vampires were a rare species and they liked to keep to themselves and show themselves if necessary. There was a barrier around the whole of Juneau because of the supernatural creatures living here, mostly witches. Vampires craved magic blood and it was what suited their taste the most.

What is this vampire doing here?

How did he get past the barrier?

How on earth does he know who Emma is?

"Well?" he urged with a raised eyebrow but I didn't say a word, making sure my weapon was pointed at his neck in case he tried anything funny.

He grabbed my knife by the tip with his black leather gloved hand and shifted it away from his neck not even threatened by it.

"I believe I asked a question, Grayson"

"I'm not obligated to answer any of your fucking questions" but then I paused when it hit me. "H-How do you know my name?"
