The Gravity Of Your Choice

Chilly silence filled the office to the point it was almost impossible, yet I stood my ground focusing my entire gaze on Oliver although that was a difficult feat for me. Getting no answer from anyone was really freaking me out! Wasn't I supposed to choose both? I mean it's my choice, right? Will they accept it? I bit my bottom lip because I got more nervous and uncertain about my choice, this silence wasn't helping at all.

"Do you understand the gravity of this decision?" Oliver finally broke the silence.

And I released a sharp exhale. "Y-Yes"

"And?"

I took a deep gulp. "I will still continue my studies here as a witch, and…" I faced Dace, should I say be his wife? I shook my head. "Date Dace Devereaux '' he raised an eyebrow at my words and I blushed looking away. Saying 'Date' was easier than saying his wife, it made me awkward.
