She Stays

At the slight knock on my room door, I turned my eyes away from my laptop. The door clicked open and Vanessa walked in.

"Hey"

"Hey"

And then she sighed. "I figured you aren't going anymore, seeing as we just came back from the airport and you're still here"

"I'm still here"

"I can see that" She walked to my bed and took a seat, there was a minute of silence before I broke it.

"It's my choice Vanessa, It's not that I don't get you, I do"

"I know dear," she said with a smile on her lips. "So officially you're here and know things you shouldn't… I don't mean to scare you but there are more crazy things to see, I sure hope you're up for it"

"I will try… my aunt is a witch and my best friend is a warlock" I nod. "I think I can handle it"

"I hope you can"

"How does it work... you cast a spell and stuff?"

"When needed and it's not that easy, not much time to do all that, we're at peace"
