Prom Day {1}

I stood before my mirror in my dress, almost matching the color of my eyes, V-neck, and the sleeves although tiny but thick enough for me but my arms were still exposed now everyone will see just how skinny I was. The dress just stopped at my knees, straight.

I leveled my gaze to the white cardigan jacket, well that will do, I can take that, the night is cold after all.

I slid on it before fixing my hair in my usual top bun, Today so far was kinda okay, what made me smile was speaking with my mom, she was actually the first person, ramming the words 'Happy birthday,' to me and kisses, I swear if she were here she will give me a bear hug which I craved, but distance was a bitch.

And then I got messages from Henry and miles, it seems they were told too.

"Okay," I said to myself, I look simple and that was okay for me, the heels I wore weren't those high ones, they looked almost like sanders, at least I can walk with them.
