'Good,' Kiyota thought, pleased with his progress.

'Now, all I need to do is find the Menos Forest and hunt some Gillians.'

Kiyota took flight and scanned the landscape, looking for the massive forest of dead trees he'd seen in the distance when he first arrived in Hueco Mundo. As the hours passed, his search proved fruitless.

'Dammit,' Kiyota thought, frustrated.

"Host, you're flying in circles," Siri's emotionless voice said in his mind.

'I can't find the Menos Forest!' Kiyota shot back.

"If you fly up, you will have a better view." Siri advised.

Kiyota's mood turned sour, and he muttered, "I guess it can't hurt."

Kiyota increased the reiatsu output from his wings and ascended higher into the sky. His vision quickly improved, and the desert stretched out below him.

'This is amazing,' Kiyota thought, admiring the landscape.

'I remember when I was jealous of birds and their freedom. Now, I can fly...'

Kiyota scanned the horizon and finally spotted a familiar sight: a cluster of grey trees and jagged rocks that seemed a natural cover.

'That must be it,' Kiyota thought excitedly. 'The hole to the Menos Forest must be there!'

Kiyota flew down and landed, his massive claws digging into the white sand inside the covered area.

'There it is!' Kiyota thought excitedly as the sand began to sink.

Kiyota carefully stepped back, waiting for the hole to reveal itself. Soon, the entire floor of the cave began to collapse, revealing a gaping maw of darkness.

Kiyota peered into the hole and saw more sandy dunes similar to the top, but it was dark.

'This looks like the place,' Kiyota thought as he leapt into the hole, his powerful wings propelling him downward.

'Let's get started.'

After a few minutes of flying, Kiyota spotted a giant, towering figure. It was mostly black, with a few red lines crisscrossing its mask. Its body was massive and hulking, and its legs ended in large, gnarled claws. Its nose was enormous and looked hardened.

'That must be a gillian.' Kiyota thought as he descended.

As Kiyota landed on a large rock, he heard a deep, guttural roar as the gillian turned and faced him.

'It sensed me... These creatures are by far the stupidest creatures I've come across, but their spiritual pressure detection is miles above mine. I've gotta do something about that. I'm sure the gillian doesn't understand why there's a little bug on a rock staring at it. I don't even think it cares, it just wants to eat me.'

"New Quest." Siri chimed in Kiyota's ear.

'What is it?' Kiyota asked while looking at the giant gillian walk towards with a slow speed.
