Cold, rigid cold, sweat, and pain. That is what Nnoitra remembered as he awoke from his slumber.
Slamming his fist into a nearby wall, Nnoitra growled like an angry dog throwing a tantrum, his crescent blade still shattered.
" Damn!" He grunted. He pulled his fists back and stared at the wall, a feeling of deep-seated anger and embarrassment boiling within the pit of his stomach. Nnoitra hated how easily he was dispatched of. Treated like a child, toyed with by another. It angered him to no ends. And not only was he beaten once. He was put down by that woman.
There was a deafening silence within the halls of Hueco Mundo....
And then suddenly the sound of footsteps echoing caught Nnoitra's ears.
" Hm? Who the hell is that?" He asked.
He turned his head backwards and stared at the man approaching him.
That man that had the look of madness. His pink hair fluttering in the wind, and those bone-framed glasses. It could be only one.
Former Espada- Szayelapporro.
" Well, hello there my young friend. " Szayelapporro placed a finger on the nose of his glasses and smiled at Nnoitra. " You certainly seem to be in a bad mood."
Nnoitra looked at Szayelapporro in frustration. " What do you want?" He asked.
Szayelapporro smiled a little. " I just wanted to see if you were still alive and breathing." Szayelapporro stated. " After all, it would be a bad look if one of the newest members of the Espada died after only a few days." He said.
" Go to hell." Nnoitra grunted. He turned and started walking away from the mad scientist, wanting nothing more than to be left alone.
.....................
Bikou stepped out of the Garganta holding a black bag in his hands and smiling from ear to ear. Bikou stepped into his room and immediately a hand reached out and grabbed his shoulder.
Bikou looked back to see none other than Gin Ichimaru standing behind him.
" I've been waiting for you, for some time you know." Gin stated.
" Oh, Gin... What's up?"
Gin removed his hand and stared at the bag in Bikou's hands. " Oh, nothing much. What do you have there?" He asked.
A smile appeared on Bikou's face, and he started happily pulling things from the bag. " I went to the world of the living and found some cool items there!" He said. He pulled out bags of candies, treats, and other foods of all kinds, all while Gin watched in confusion.
' How big is that bag?' He wondered. It seemed almost bottomless.
" The world of the living? What drew your attention there?" He wondered.
" Well, I heard some of the lower hollows speaking the other day about their time in the world of the living, since I don't recall ever going myself. And they told me that there were all kinds of interesting things there, so I figured, I go and take a look for myself." Bikou exclaimed excitedly.
" Hm. You know that's against the rules, right?" Gin asked.
Bikou nodded and shrugged his shoulders. " Who cares? Hey, you wanna try some?"
" Why not." Gin stated.
He joined Bikou at the small table in his room and watched as the monkey started placing all the items on the table.
Teas, sweets, and other assorted items all piled high onto the table.
" Um, this might be a bit much, don't ya think?"
" Not at all." Bikou responded bluntly.
Bikou started reaching for the pile when a sudden knock came at his door.
Bikou stopped mid-reach and looked towards his door. " Come in!" He shouted.
The door slowly opened to reveal Nelliel. The woman entered Bikou's room and immediately her eyes turned to stars and her mouth began watering.
" Ah, you want some too? Come on! I got plenty." Bikou spoke. He laughed at Nel's face and gently waved for her to come join them at the table.
" This is amazing. I haven't seen such things in so long!" She stated.
" I know right?! I've got a bunch of stuff. What do you want? Tea, Mochi, chocolate? You name it, I probably got some of it!" Bikou exclaimed.
Nel sat down at the table and grabbed a cup of tea from Bikou, along with a handful of sweets. " How did you get all this?" She asked.
" Well, I just told the story, I went to the world of the living after overhearing some of the other Hollows talking about it. And I grabbed everything that interested me!" Bikou exclaimed. He opened up a banana and tossed the peel to the side before dropping the whole thing in his mouth.
Bikou smiled wide and rubbed his face. " So, what did you two want?" He suddenly asked.
Gin paused for a moment, before clarity returned to him. " Oh, right. I suppose Aizen wanted to speak to you about something. I just came to tell you."
" And I wanted to talk to you about Nnoitra." Nel spoke up.
Bikou raised an eyebrow in question. " That weird smiley guy? It's been a while since I saw him. What is it?" He asked.
" He started challenging me. I just wanted to warn you, in case he tried to-"
Before Nel could finish her sentence, someone blew a massive whole in Bikou's wall.
Some of Bikou's snacks ended up falling on the floor, much to Bikou's annoyance.
" Gah! My candy...." Bikou whined and then started reaching for the now tainted sweets. He cradled the candy like one would cradle a lost loved one, crying tears of pain and agony as the dirt covered sweets were covered in dust.
Suddenly, a Giant crescent shaped blade plummeted straight for Bikou's neck. Nnoitra had attacked him once again. However, in the very next instance, Bikou swung his arm backwards and smacked Nnoitra through the wall at the end of his room, sending him crashing through the corridors of Las Noches. " He... Ruined my candy." Bikou muttered sadly. " I was looking forward to that."
Bikou continued sobbing ever so slightly after his lost candy, while Gin and Nel observed the whole in which Nnoitra was sent flying.
" Wow! What a hole."
" You wouldn't suppose he's still alive, would?" Gin asked the girl. " I wouldn't want to report that to Captain Aizen."
Nel shrugged her shoulders. " I don't know. But, I suppose, if Nnoitra is anything he is resilient." Nel told the man.
She looked out the hole in the wall and saw how far the drop was down to the desert. She simply shook her head at the stupidity that was Nnoitra. " He's never going to learn."
" Where is he?! Where did that bastard go?!" Bikou jumped up from his seat and raced over to the wall. He looked out the hole and pointed his finger down into the desert.
He began firing multiple cero's blasts from his finger, bombarding the floor below with as many explosives as he could. After a couple seconds, he stopped. Starring down at the smoke with tears still in his eyes, Bikou huffed. Bikou walked back over to his table and sat down.
" Well, that was quite scary." Gin muttered. " Do you think he's still alive down there, somewhere?"
" I don't think so." She muttered.
Down in the desert, Nnoitra was covered in sweat and wounds. His body ached all over. But he was still alive.
It was at that moment, that Nnoitra decided he would try to kill him.
