In terms of strictness, Adonis was on top of the list. He would shout at me whenever I made a mistake. He wanted everything to be done neatly.
In the beginning it looked like we were making something else. But once the metal got the shape, the real structure unfolded. I heated up the metal and put it into the water. I wanted to get the perfect shape of the blade. I was fine with all the blades but Adonis wasn't. He wanted to prepare the sharpest blade, flawless. He made me heat up the metal and cool it down several times.
I became tired doing the same stuff but Adonis forced me to keep doing it.
At last, we got a very sharp blade. The blade was so sharp; I was scared it would cut my fingers while I carried it to the table, "Perfect! Now we need to make the body, your grip." Adonis declared. The grip was also made by metal. Luckily, I did not need to heat it up. The shape was already thin cylindrical. A rubber grip was placed on the handle which made it easier and comfortable to handle.
I then had to combine all the parts. I took the drill and did whatever Adonis told me. Honestly, I didn't know a single thing that I was doing. If it wasn't for Adonis, I would have given up by now and went to my room to get a good sleep. I hadn't noticed the time yet. I had forgotten to eat lunch too. I was too engrossed in making the weapon.
In the end, we gave it a red and golden color spray. The handle was golden and the blade was red. The outline of the blade was also golden. It was finally here! My weapon, my battle-axe was complete!
Adonis smiled. "We did it boy! We have made it!"
