5. Inromia

After Ezai's "close call" on Gravel Road, he finally made it to the next destination, "Inromia". Thanks to the help of a Townsfolk back in Rolt Bay. Ezai has to be on guard due to the negativity surrounding this city. As his mission continues, it will only get harder. He has only three gems left to find.

"Ok, first things first, I got to find somewhere to rest for a while. After that battle, I need it." Ezai said

As Ezai walked around Inromia, the people there began to stare at Ezai's black eye and the amount of blood coming from his ears and mouth. Ezai also appeared as if he was ready to drop dead.

"HEY!!!, are you ok? Do you need any help?"

- Ezai turned towards the voice -

"Oh, yeah I could use a place to rest for a while. Thanks." Ezai said

"That's all?, you look like you could use more than that. Anyway, you don't look like you belong here. Where are you from?"

"Oh...I'm....

Before Ezai could finish, he collapsed on the floor.

~ 3 Days Later ~

- Inromia Medical Center -

"W.... what happened to me" Ezai said as he opened his eyes.

"You collapsed due to extreme blood lost and exhaustion. Your fine, since you slept for a total of three days. Next time, don't over do it. Whenever your ready, you may leave or stay, I don't care." Doctor Keza said , as he walked away

"Three days?, that can't be right, also, what was wrong with that doctor?.. Ezai wondered

~ 10 minutes later ~

"Oh hey, your awake!. Remember me. It was me that called for help."

- Ezai turned towards the voice -

"Remember?, right before you collapsed."

"Right" Ezai said

"I almost forgot, I'm Amon Nejura, I'm a researcher. I travel around collecting data and information on a variety of things." Amon said

"That would explain how you know me. Let me guess, your a fan of mine?" Ezai wondered

"Me? No, I just like to collect data and information. Every person I meet, I see them as a way to further my library of information." Amon said

"Is that right. You know. I heard those words before. In Rolt Bay actually." Ezai said

"Really?, well, whoever told you must be a traveler too." Amon said

"Yeah, he was the one that told me about Inromia." Ezai said

"So, why are you here. I'm sure that friend of yours in Rolt Bay told you about Inromia, so why come all the way here?" Amon wondered

"Can we take this outside?" Ezai asked

"Yeah why not" Amon said

Ezai and Amon both went outside to finish their conversation

- Inromia, Outside -

"Ok, well, I don't know if you know but, something very important was taken from Amori, and the Head Office of Algori hired me to get that very important thing back at all cost. In case your wondering, there were others who came before me, but, they failed. I was the only one capable of making it this far. I am the best Blade Algori has to offer. I hope that answers your question." Ezai explained

"Blade you say. Hmmm. Now I know you now. Yeah, your Ezai. That would mean, your looking for the Blade of Amori and it's gems. That would explain the hostile nature of the people of Inromia." Amon said

"You got it" Ezai said

"Allow me to help out then." Amon said with a happy look on his face

"Go on, I'll take whatever you got to offer me" Ezai said

Amon began to dig in his bag, he took out a book that said "Amorian History", and a second book that said "Algorian Law and Order".

"I think you will highly enjoy these gems, they are something else if you ask me" Amon said as he handed over the two books.

- Ezai took both books -

"Wow, Amorian History and Algorian Law and Order. These are pretty rare. Thanks" Ezai said

"No problem, oh here, take this bag too." Amon said as he handed over the bag

- Ezai took the bag -

"I don't know what to say." Ezai said

"You don't have to say anything, the future of Algori is in our hands after all. But the Blades have it harder since they are the front line defense. They also handle any other problems that surface. When it come down to the Blades of Amori and Algori, The Blades have it harder." Amon explained

"You do know something huh. Make sure you stay safe now" Ezai said

"No problem, I will. Just get that blade back will you. I still have travel plans, but the Head Office banned travel in that area since the Blade of Amori was taken. I actually wanted to go that way but I can't now." Amon said

"I will, I mean I have to, it's my job as Blade to get them back." Ezai

"Those books, read them. They might help. at least I hope they do" Amon said

"Don't worry, I will" Ezai said

- Amon walked away -

"You know, these books might actually help me. I haven't read these books before. Which one should I read first. Let's see:

Amorian History

Algorian Law and Order

Hmmm...Ok, so my choice is the Amorian History, since this mission is mainly about Amori, learning past history might help me a little or a lot" Ezai explained

- Ezai opens the Amorian History book -

- Chapter 1: Amori Peace -

"In the early days in Amori, everyone lived in peace. That peace was foreseen by the Elders. Never during these times were "Head Office Authority" ever questioned. Everyone got along and they were all friendly. THESE times were short lived when "Elder Ujornix Al Muriken" decided he no longer wanted to follow ancient Amorian Law. The Head Office couldn't believe Elder Ujornix, the trouble and rebellion he caused forced the Head Office to enact The "Blade Defense Act" to protect Algori from further harm and danger.

The Head Office deemed this Act necessary, considering during these times, he was the leader of Amori. Which meant he had ancient knowledge. Some acceptable and some not so "acceptable". Amori was forever changed from that day forward since Elder Ujornix was very talented and respected. Not everybody was against Elder Ujornix's betrayal, he had followers and very few Elder supporters." Ezai explained

"This book has a lot of valuable information. This is only chapter one and I learned a lot. So this Elder Ujornix, is he the reason why Amori is the way it is now? Or is there another explanation?." Ezai wondered

- Ezai looked at the Algorian Law and Order book -

- Chapter 1: The Blade Defense Act -

"After the sudden betrayal of a highly respected Elder in the region of Amori, the Head Office of Algori enacted a Law called "The Blade Defense Act", This law gave the Head Office the power to send their "Specialized Defense Unit Agents" to those that need their aid. But due to the betrayal, Amori was left out of this agreement. Only The Head Office has the power to break such agreement for any reason deemed necessary by the Office. If any staff or worker agent break this law without permission, it will result in severe punishment, which is usually the Highest Order.

- Chapter 2: Gems -

"The "Blades" are in charge of retrieving the ancient artifacts of any region. The Blades are equipped with "Specialized Enhancement Crystals" that were given the name "Gems", to give the wielder intense power over their enemy. It depends on the number of gems that are placed into the blade. This weapon can only be given to a highly trained Agent. If any other person were to gain access to this weapon, it will cause war. THINKING AHEAD, the Head Office developed a defense mechanism, that will bring about the destruction of any that is not deemed worthy by the blade. This mechanism was implanted in the Gems to further protect the region. The circle engravement is the main choice for such mechanism.

"When divided, the gems will activate, summoning a monster that will guard the gem with it's life. When you are close by, you will see signs of said monster. If said monster was defeated, the gem will be available to be taken. If all gems were to be united, these gems can be used to cause chaos. All gems are not necessary. Once division from the blade source, the summoning will automatically happen. Since they appear in different colors, each one has a different elemental power and energy." Ezai explained

"Ok, so I already know I'm apart of the Specialized Defense Unit, and I knew a little about the betrayal but, what I didn't know was the persons name. If this Ujornix is responsible for this chaos, I have to find the remaining gems and blade and bring him down. I was also given full authority to execute whoever was responsible."

Suddenly, the people of Inromia were running for their lives. They were screaming at the top of their lungs. People was dying, their skins were melting but, that wasn't it. Oh no, they was also choking on their blood. The burns were so hot, so bad, the blood was boiling to a point of it choking them.
