The fallen Prince Arthas betrayed the honor of paladins and disbanded the Order of the Silver Hand after killing Uther. From then on, the Silver Hand was divided into several factions, and the major ones were the Brotherhood of Light, Argent Dawn, and Scarlet Crusade.
Tirion Fordring's son, Taelan Fordring, had also lost his faith. Disillusioned, he became a puppet of the Scarlet Crusade.
