In the final phase and the hardest part of a chess game, there were some special moves for special situations, and one couldn't lose if they followed the steps in the chess book.
In StarCraft, there were some strategies and certain moves similar to the ones recorded in the chess book. For example, Mr. Fang used this move of photon cannons, which was a killing move against new players.
However, it didn't mean that the old players wouldn't be fooled. To trick the old players, one had to have a great understanding of psychology and some luck.
In fact, everyone fooled by this move would instantly doubt their own intelligence since this strategy looked so dumb.
However, except for the super masters, there were so many people, new and old players, who fell for this trap that they could form a line around Earth.
