Chapter 49 : No skipping meals.

Third person point of view

On the Sunday, they gathered in the practice room. This time it was only the first and second year bands. " First we want to see all of you do your own parts individually but in the pace of the song ". Seungcheol said. They second years were all sitting on chairs. The others were in their positions in front of them.

" Who wants to go first ? " Jeonghan asked. Dokyeom raised his hand. " Oh wow. Come then ". Dokyeom stood in the middle and the others gathered to a side. He perfectly finished all his parts. All of them clapped. " Good job ". Jeonghan said and Dokyeom thanked and went to stand on the side.

" How about Jaehyun now ? " Jaehyun nodded and went to the drums. He also did everything right. They all clapped again. " Rise the stool a little ". Jihoon said after Jaehyun was done and everyone laughed. Jaehyun nodded. " Next Mingyu ". Mingyu also did well. " Good ". Mingyu went to stand aside and met eyes with Wonwoo.

Mingyu smiled. Wonwoo looked down and turned to the front. Mingyu chuckled silently. Then next Seungkwan, Vernon and Bambam in order finished it. " Nice to see that you are perfect with your own parts. Now let's try all together ". Seungcheol said. " How about we play the song and you guys match with it ? " Jihoon suggested.

Seungcheol nodded. " Okay ". He played the song and they missed a few beats here and there. " Don't be discouraged. It is the first time. How about you start again ? " Joshua said and they played by themselves this time. " Ohh~ it got better ". Jeonghan said. Even the ones who played felt like it did.

" Once again ". Seungcheol said and they did again. This time they only missed one beat. They took a deep breath when they were done. " Sit down for a minute ". They all put the instruments away and sat down. They took a five minute break and played again. They missed the same one again.

" Do you guys know why it is going wrong ? " Wonwoo asked. They all looked at each other. " I guess the gap is too less and we are not able to catch up ". Seungkwan said. Jihoon nodded. " You guys need to set your rhythm right and it will mostly likely work. Don't rush. And also you guys will get better at it if you keep practicing ".

They nodded and practiced. They finally got it right. All of them cheered. " Finally ". Mingyu said wiping his sweat. " Good job guys ". All of them clapped. " Shall we go for lunch ? " Joshua asked and all of them put things in their places and locked the room. They went to the cafeteria and had lunch.

Mingyu went back to his room and saw Jungkook who was sleeping. He frowned. He went and changed into more comfortable clothes. He was contemplating between waking Jungkook up or not. He wondered if he had lunch or not so he woke Jungkook up at the end. " Jungkook-ah, wake up ".

Jungkook woke up and rubbed his eyes. " Oh, you are back already ". He sat up and ran a hand through his hair. " Did you have lunch ? " Jungkook shook his head. " Yah. How can you just sleep and not eat ? " Jungkook rotated his neck. " I had breakfast and felt sleepy. So I just fell asleep ". Mingyu sighed.

" What do you want to have ? " Jungkook sat staring blankly. Mingyu shook his head. " Go wash your face. I will bring something for you ". Mingyu just walked out again. On his way, he met Wonwoo. " Where are you going ? " " I guess it is fun for you brothers to skip meals ". Wonwoo was confused.

" What is it ? " He asked looking almost scared of Mingyu even though he was younger than him. " Your brother just slept in without even having lunch. So I am going to get food for him ". Wonwoo nodded. Mingyu walked away with a huff. Wonwoo smiled looking at Mingyu's back. He then walked up to his room.

He got his things and went to Jungkook. Jungkook was looking fresh and alive after washing his face. " How can you just sleep in without eating ? " Jungkook was surprised Wonwoo knew about it. " How did you know ? " " I met Mingyu on my way here and even I got scolded ". Jungkook giggled. " You deserve it ". Wonwoo hit Jungkook's head.

Jungkook rubbed his head and pouted. " Why did you hit me ? " He sulked. Wonwoo tried again but Jungkook dodged. He went to sit on the bed. " I won't allow you to sit on my bed. Go sit where you want to ". He pouted hard. Wonwoo easily pushed him aside and sat down beside him. Jungkook puffed and got up sitting away from him.
