"You don't believe me, dear?" Vanessa asked with her most innocent expression. Esmeralda doesn't seem to buy her story at all.

Linda closely watches Esmeralda's expression to see what she thought of Vanessa's question.

"Of course, not aunt, why will you think that?" Esmeralda said while arranging Robert's blanket over to him.

"Well, what you said made me think otherwise."

"It was just an expression… so don't worry Aunt."

"Alright, enough with that… but Petro is supposed to have been here by now." Linda sarcastically asked.

Vanessa gave Linda a warning look, the girl was daring her despite her warning. "Am sure he is on his way."

Linda chuckles, it's just that we aren't in two different houses Aunt VANESSA!" she emphasized her last words. Linda is aware Vanessa knows very well why she did that.

Vanessa's jaw clenched, and she frowned, the girl had been ranting a lot of stuff that was not to her liking for a while now. "What do you mean, by that?" Vanessa asked, her eyes flashing angrily.

"What I said is just the obvious, aunt, where is Petro? Hmm? We have been here for quite a while now." Linda said casually, shrugging.

Linda dared Vanessa to try and do anything stupid in front of Esmeralda, she was too eager to expose the fake aunt already. But she is also well aware Vanessa won't allow her to get her way so easily.

It was something wrong to do from Linda's side. Immediately, Vanessa's cheeks flushed, and her facial muscles became rigid as she stomped toward her. Gritting her teeth, She was about to grab Linda when she suddenly realized Esmeralda was also in the room with them.

Vanessa contained herself before Esmeralda could suspect anything, Linda was going to pay for provoking her. She warned the girl but the damn girl didn't listen to her. "Dear, Petro will be here anytime soon, hmm?" she lovingly whispered.

Esmeralda was baffled by Vanessa's behavior, she had never seen her aunt like this before. What is going on here? But she chooses to ignore it for today, Robert isn't well and he is her only concern for today.

"I will go check on Petro… aunt mentioned he was extremely tired earlier, maybe something might have happened," Esmeralda said and was about to open the door when…

"UNCLE!" Esmeralda was about to open the door when Petro barged the door open.

He started shouting Uncle, uncle, immediately he entered, "What happened to Uncle Esme?" he asked the obvious.

"He had an attack earlier." Esmeralda casually answered him.

"How is he now?"

"Oh my god, Esme, don't worry he will be fine." Petro hugged Esmeralda and said.

Linda shrugged, 'Liar' she whispered. The boy is acting very well; she didn't even know what she saw in Petro to have fallen for him. His mother has completely turned him into a dangerous person just like her or worse than her.

"Sis, Dad, is alright already, why don't you go get some rest and I will stay here with him?" Linda moved closer and separated Petro and Esmeralda, she glared at Petro and returned it with a smile.

"How about you take Aunt to rest since Dad, is alright now Petro?" Esmeralda said.

"No!" both the mother and son said in unison.

Linda tried hard to stop herself from laughing out loud, the two were on their game, but she didn't say anything else in other not to trigger Vanessa further, she was aware she had done enough for the day with what she had done earlier. She knows if she triggers Vanessa any further then the consequences won't be good.

Although Vanessa was close to grabbing her earlier, the woman was still able to contain herself, and she didn't even have any evidence against them yet. She must gather enough proof before trying anything. Vanessa is dangerous, if she was capable of still staying indoors and ignoring Esmeralda's call for everyone despite hearing it when she very well knows that he might have died, this makes Vanessa very scary and someone to be afraid of. Only god knows what the woman is capable of doing to her.
