Elliot stayed in the hospital for two days, and Julia took care of him. For two consecutive days, Julia could not return home and see her babies, and she surely missed them. She made sure that no one would notice her calls and messages to her children.
Knowing that Elliot was not used to local food, she cooked it herself. Elliot felt that his stomach was spoiled by her. He was blessed to have a taste of her special food.
After breakfast, he said, "I'm discharged today, and I will return to the hotel. Will you continue being my waitress?"
Julia put down the spoon and reminded, "Your wound hasn't fully healed yet."
"I asked the doctor. If I pay attention, there will be no problem. There are some business things that I need to deal with personally, and I have to travel back to my home country."
“Where are you from, Mr. Elliot?”
“Scotland.”
“May you have a safe trip.”
