Chapter 11

"Master....this is where I reached there are uknown components that have formed."

"Let me see." Mia took the microscope, After a few minutes she had spotted the problem.

"Master you are indeed great."

"You can leave now I'll handle the rest." For the rest of the day, Mia was in the lab preparing the cure it required alot of processes.

"I brought you something to eat." Mason's voice rang Mia turned to face him she took out her gloves then folded her lab coat then walked towards him.

"Come lets eat somewhere else." She replied as she walked out. She walked into a large room which looked like an office.

"Is this your office?" Mason asked. Mia nodded her head then sat on the sofa comfortably.

"Here drink this first."

"Am going back to the lab." Mia replied after a few minutes....Mason nodded.

She walked out but suddenly stopped then turned to Mason..."Follow me." She said...which surprised Mason no one had ever spoken to him like that not even his own parents but he still stood up and followed her.

She led him to a room then opened it with her finger print then turned back and said..."This is my room you can use it for now Im still busy am going back to the lab." After saying that she walked out not waiting for Mason's reply.

Mia stayed in the lab for the rest of the night the next morning she finally concluded what she was doing she walked out of the lab with dark eye circles under her eyes she looked extremely tired.

"Master...go rest I'll handle the rest." Dr Ezekiel walked into the lab then said he was already used to Mia's doing. Mia would occasionally transnight and work for hours till she got the perfect results this was one of the reasons why till now Dr. Ezekiel knew no one could match her.

She was a perfectionist.

Not even Dr. Ezekiel could match her skills and abilities.

Mia nodded her head then walked out of the lab on the way she met Mason walking elegantly dressed in a dark blue suit carrying a cup of hot chocolate in his hands.

"Your done?" He asked. Mia nodded her head.

"Drink this."

"I'll go sleep first we can leave when I wake up." Mia said..

She walked towards her room then fell on the bed Mason walked in then covered her gently he closed all the curtains to avoid light from penetrating in then tiptoed out.

Mia woke up after five hours she took a shower then went to the lab packed up her things then went to look for Mason.

"Let's go." She said as soon as she spotted him.

"Master my work here is done...Can I take a break? We've been researching for a long time."

"Who said it's done?"

"This can only prolong her life....we dont have a cure yet." Mia replied expressionless.

"...." Dr. Ezekiel sighed..He had been living here for months.

"Let him rest.....he looks so unkempt his been staying in the lab for months without an assistant." Mason spoke.

"Yes Master..." He spoke happily.

"Fine three months then get yourself an assistant."

"What about my pay?" He asked.

"Paid leave." Mia replied with a long sigh.

"Yees thank you Master." Dr. Ezekiel jumped happily.

Mia walked to the car then immediately fell asleep.
