Sherry took a deep breath as she exited the room carefully. The guests were all still chatting around. She scouted the area for Stark, but saw no sign of the billionaire. She presumed Abi had lured him away again.
But why did she feel so despondent about Stark being with his cousin? Though related, they were not brother and sister, and individuals free to do as they wished. If Stark made her his discreet lover while they were in Bangkok, that meant he wouldn’t have qualms about pursuing an underground relationship with his cousin, over all people. In her mind, Stark never cared about people judging him, and he did what he wanted.
“So, Summer, am I right?”
Sherry turned around to see Matt leaning against the wall with his hand over his head casually.
“Uncle Matt?”
“Spare the formalities.”
