Chapter Thirty-one

They landed in London at exactly 8am London time. Chris insisted on driving Bella home even though she told him it was fine but he insisted on driving her home himself. He asked Elliot to go straight to the office to prepare for a meeting they had by 12 noon.

"This man never rests." she thought to herself.

"So what now?" Chris asked her while they were on their way to Bella's house. He was still focused on the road. The question was just out of the blue so she didn't understand what he meant

"What's now what?" She asked him

"Are you going to tell your family members that you found out about everything?"

"Isn't that obvious? I will have to tell them in other to see a doctor. I can't just give up without a fight. Even if the memories are not that important I still want to have them. They are my memories and am no longer a child that they have to decide for. If they had told me sooner, I probably would have regained my memory fully by now. They should have let me face it then instead of making me run away from it. I don't even know if am ever going to get back my memories."

Tears were already forming in her eyes but she tried to hold it in because she didn't want Chris to see her as a cry baby .

Chris reach out for her hand held it tight. This was like a form of reassurance that "I'll be there with you every step of the way".

"You know your family members love you right? Your mum especially and I know how much Bianca cares about you and you can't get mad at her husband either because he actually came at me with a punch six years ago when he discovered you left with me." Chris said with his eyes still focused in the road.

"Austin did that? Really?" Bella asked laughing while Chris replied with a nod. "Wow am impressed" .

"I've always known Austin to be a very calm person. He must have been really pissed to have punched you man." She said laughing before her phone rang. It was Kayden calling.

"Hey Sisterly, where the hell are you. Don't you miss your brothers? Anyways I missed you that's why am calling and I hope you're free for the rest of the week because I really need to go on that vacation you promised us and if you're not free for the rest of the week after this long trip you went on I might have to go and punch that stupid jack face of a boss you have. "

"Yes Noona I'll have to follow Kayden to punch some senses into his God damn head. Tell him we are not scared of him at all even if everyone knows him to be ruthless he dare not mess with my only sister." Jayden said

"Guys can you take a chill pill? Am already on my way home and yes I have the rest of the week to myself so we can go on the vacation I promised you guys on Wednesday but we have to be back on Friday because of Bianca's baby shower and you guys won't be punching anyone please. I said laughing

"I guess they are not so fond of me." Chris said

"Sis whose voice was that?" Jayden said.

"It is the stupid jack face of a boss I have." Bella said looking at Chris with a Smirk.

"Why are you with him? Is he still angry that you hit his stupid car?"

"No guys he's just nice enough to drive me home."

"What? He's driving you home? You mean his on his way to our house?" The twins inquired

"Who?" Bella heard her mum's voice

"The great Christian Hampson and Sisterly" . Kayden replied

"He's dropping Nuna off in his car Oma. Wo wo wo . But wait, cho gi o Nuna, Pi cho so? Why would you get into in car? When did you guys become that close to the extent that he's dropping you off."

Jayden has always been known for his obsession with K-drama and K-pop. That is the only thing he had in common with his sister aside that he's totally different from Kay and Bella. Kay and Bella are more alike behavior wise because they both are very outspoken unlike Jay who is usually quiet. He's more likely to leave water in his mouth if you asked him to. That's how reserved and quiet he his. Another thing the three of them had in common was that they are very brilliant and intelligent. Bella was able to graduate as a top student in her college and the twins are studying Medicine thanks to their genius genes.

"Bye guys I'll explain later." Bella said before I dropped the call.

"Why do your brothers dislike me? " Chris asked

"Well they will be in the best position to answer that question, you can ask them when you see them." Bella replied

The twins were already outside by the time they got to the house. They had this "I'll kill you if you try shit with my sister." look on their faces. If looks could kill then Chris would have been 6feet down by now.

"This guys won't kill me honestly. They are always so protective of me. I am supposed to be protecting them since am their big sis but it as always been the other way round since we were young." Bella thought to herself

The twins helped  with the bags and Vera asked Chris to come in. She said she hasn't gotten the chance to thank him since her surgery. She made him pancake with coffee and even invited him to her 50th birthday dinner that the children had absolutely no idea about.

Chris left immediately after breakfast and the twins kept giving him this I don't like you at all look. Vera asked him about work and how he has been holding up. Bella had this gut feeling that there was more to that question and that they've known each other before the accident that happened almost a year ago.

"Does my mum know about what happened with you six years ago ." Bella asked Chris.

"Yes she does." He answered honestly

My mum and the twins had this shocked expression on their faces.

"Wow." was all Bella could say before leaving the table.
